Sure aiming a gun in VR is obviously more analogous to how it works in real life but it is not like we would want every video game action to translate to real life counterparts. Imagine a game like Devil May Cry or Spider-Man with all the high level action and acrobatic movement it would never work well in VR or without any contextual button presses. Unless the so called deep dive VR or more specifically computers interfacing with our brains comes to fruition.
