Makes sense. Can definitely relate to what you were saying in the beginning. Working from home and having a workspace always gives an itch to make changes coz i think even for me like once every 3 months i uproot my entire workspace and move it around even if it's just minimal changes but it sort of gives a reset to the mind not just the space itself. Keep the black arm for your monitor and just cut it down to the height of your monitor and place the cover it has back on it so it doesn't look like it has been cut. one more thing your small monitor does it use a display port or HDMI if either just get a new cable will a L shape connection so you don't have that extra L shape adapter.Also the cable you have running by the peg board just run it behind the peg board and use one of the small ikea hooks to hold it up for you. just trying to give u some DIY ideas.

i don't have anything to cut something like that though! if i had a bunch of tools absolutely, but i honestly might get the same stand in the shorter version - this one i got was "tall". i have an L shaped 90 degree for my portable monitor but the cord is really stiff and makes it lift the monitor off so i need to figure that out a bit haha. thank you for the advice!!

We once had a full on stream of water come thru our kitchen light fixture from the apartment next to us while they were using the shower. We moved out of there ASAP after. I would have lost my mind if if had been anywhere near my setup.

i personally love long vines but also really fluffy ones! ikea has a lot of great long vine planets, and then i go to amazon for a bit bigger fluffy plants! if you've got shelves or anything with height (in this case mine is only my pc tower), it's nice to distribute them across that!

3m double sided tape! the philips hue comes with adhesives but ive taken mine off so much that i dont have it anymore. the acrylic stands i got from amazon! they're book stands. hahaha women on the internet amirite 😂

I saw you have a Twitch so I thought I’d ask how is streaming with that ultra wide? I’ve seriously been considering it, but not sure if it would be great for streaming since you’d have to change the resolution so it shows up properly in a normal resolution for others ;w;

i actually haven't streamed in years and when i used to stream i didn't have this monitor. when i have to screen record with OBS i have to resize browsers but no idea what it'd be like with games at this size, i'm sorry!! tbh i can't go back to regular size screens as my main. every single game i play except overwatch uses the full ultrawide. i'm sure there are apps that lets you split your ultrawide accordingly or might even help with streaming!

It helps my anxiety and is much more efficient when it comes to cleaning/dusting. I like the second little stand you put on the table. I see this a lot. It definitely helps cable management.
