I had some small throw rugs that got dirty. I waited until thunderstorm was predicted, then placed them on the driveway. The heavy rain cleaned off most of the dirt, I spot cleaned any few marks that remained. Then I put them out in the sun to dry.

Rain cleaning is always a handy way to go, I do that often with tennis shoes when they get dity sad I cannot be bothered, then I forget about them and the sun dries them for me hahah
