So you can consistently have clean spaces all the time, And somehow you will be disciplined not to create too much mess and clean up after as the while house is somewhat always clean!

You can re-use the water out of your tumble dryer in a steam iron. It’s pretty much distilled water and it works great for ironing. Pour the water from tumble dryer into a jug with a lid (so it doesn’t get dust etc in it). Then when you get your ironing pile out you already have your water ready to go. Obviously it’s NOT suitable for non-steam irons 😀

Lovely to see your house coming together (I’ve been following your channel for a while, love me some DIYs!). Have you ever considered painting the dining chairs in a “natural” rattan color? Some sort of light brown-ish? Then you could add some simple cushions to them. I love them as is as well... Sorry for sticking my nose in your decor haha! You said you’re looking for something else, so maybe that changes the mood a bit until you find something. I really enjoy your channel! Cheers from Denmark.

You've really encouraged me to stray from my original want for an ikea showroom home to thrifting and DIYing so its full of decor i love rather than being a copy and paste i don't feel comfortable living in ❤
@StephBer13 жыл бұрын
I combine the Ikea and thrifted things together. Ikea is so practical for many things but I don't get many decor items from there. Design wise you should never get everything from the one store anyway. For instance. The big cupboard in my big bathroom is Ikea with the shaker style doors on it. But we also have a claw foot bath, old fashioned shelving and a vanity made out of an old dresser. It's an old home with limited storage hence the giant wardrobe in the giant bathroom. :)

My son and I turn clothes inside out and hang em after wearing them a few hours or half the day. It signifies we wore it once and to eyeball check and smell check it if we're gona wear it again, usually wear 2nd time just around the house or if it's not heavily soiled or stained. and this way it doesnt always pile up on the chair or floor. Inside out =previously worn. Right side in= is clean. Works for us 🇺🇸

@Hermione Chantal what "chemicals" are you washing your clothes with that the water dryer can't be used on plants? If you use a biodegradable products and then you can empty the water into your garden. By the time the clothes reach the dryer most if not all of the detergent should have been rinsed from your clothes etc anyway so the ppm would be minimal. When I used to run a plant nursery, we did trials of popular detergents and tested the grey water on potted plants. It was very interesting to see which products did (and didn't) live up to their claims. From those trials, I began stocking a specific brand of cleaning products that people could feel confident were safe for their plants. I love, love, love your vaccum robot! Like you, I enjoy watching cleaning vidoes and feel more like getting stuck in to jobs I've been ignoring after watching them! Cheers from Australia!
