I love this kind of video. Just the sound of woodworking and great detail on the joinery. Thank you.

Yeah, nice when there is no annoying music, ads, etc. Very relaxing to watch.

Not sure what impresses me more, the precision of your joinery or the precision with which you follow a line on a bandsaw! Very nice piece, and extremely well built.

This is a really cool project! The proud tails and tenons really make the piece unique.

Well done Ben. Have you ever had the handle pop out of the socket? My Stanley Sweethearts, have done it to me 3x. Lots of sharpening was needed. I’m think about Japanese style chisels. I like the DT scribe line on most pieces. 👍🏻👍🏻
@cleancutwoodworks2 жыл бұрын
I’ve glued the handles into the sockets. Ain’t got time for constant resetting! I resharpened chisels several times during this build. Not fun, but a necessary evil. 👍😆

Love the proud DT Ben. Do you cut to the tape line? It looks like you do. Well done. The juggling of the squares…. Lol 🦅🌎⚓️

I cut TO the tape line - do not cross! 😬👍👊

My respect to the master! However, it is necessary to drill holes at the base of the cuts for wedges in order to prevent cracking of stressed wood.

Very well done! I really enjoy the mixture of hand work (which I desperately need to improve) and power tools. Did we hear a cnc running in the background early in the video? If so I would enjoy learning how it fits in your workflow.
@cleancutwoodworks2 жыл бұрын
Nope... no CNC and no plans to get one! Probably the Jet air filtration running 👍

Great work! Is your bandsaw a Laguna? What guided are you using ?
@cleancutwoodworks2 жыл бұрын
Yes. Carter guides.
@MD-en3zm2 жыл бұрын
@@cleancutwoodworks Maybe I should try some carter guides for my laguna.
@cleancutwoodworks2 жыл бұрын
@@MD-en3zm The stock guides are fine, but if there’s an opportunity for improvement I’m all in. Carter guides provide a pretty smooth ride.
