I think 6" of lift looks better on 35's even on a 1500. 8" lift for 35's is really just for show honestly, that would only be required for 38's for no rub.

Anthony J I have a 8” bds on my 2015 Silverado and 37” tires. I had to trim some plastic to fit with no rubbing, a 8” would clear 35” tires on a 8” on a gm truck.
