This is why I dig Chris Bossio's videos, they are thorough and true. While Chris is a well experienced barber, he still faces his challenging cuts head on and does not hide the unpleasant details of a difficult canvas. Much respect Chris, you keep the community motivated!

Mad love Chris from Hawaii. Here on lockdown I've been watching your videos. I'm not a barber but do cut my husband's hair very similar to this cut but longer on top. I've learned so much from watching you and I wanted to thank you so much for sharing what you do. I went ahead and applied the techniques to his cut today and it came out dope imo. The only real challenge for me is he has like zero patience in the chair after about 30 minutes fidgeting like a little kid, so I was not able to detail how I wanted to. He's from Boston and every time we go back east he sees his boy back there in Cambridge at Vasquez barber shop. He will sit there for him no problem for 30-45 min. Not for me though. MB it's a wifey thing. Anyway thanks again. Keep up the great work!

@@alexmaya7080 Beardbrand features various (independent) barbers around the world. Haroon is clearly suggesting Bossio be the same. If you think the barbers they featured can't cut, that's all the more reason for Bossio to be featured.

Chris man this was a tough one but this kid is honestly gonna be happy to have gotten the best taper of his life & ready to grind when all the shops open back up. Question for ya too, how do you get your camera to focus perfectly while at chest level? I love the point of view action during the cut I’ve found your video angles are some of the best out of all youtube barbers! Thanks man catch ya this summer at CT EXPO I hope! 🏴☠️
@highsandlows_4 жыл бұрын
Mike Marsters I think he’s using his phone. You don’t really have to worry much about being in focus when using a phone.
@mikemarsters38154 жыл бұрын
HighsAndLows hmmm it must be suspended somehow on his chest then cause he’s using both hands one on clippers other on brush. It’s really interesting and I wanna start filming my cuts so I’m trying to figure out what may be the best way. I’ve attempted phone in one hand clipper in other and man it’s tough lol
@highsandlows_4 жыл бұрын
Mike Marsters he uses a monopod; It’s like a tripod but much less invasive so you can conveniently place it in front of you. And he must have a ‘phone tripod mount’ attached to the monopod to hold his phone.

Hey Chris? Is it a bad idea to use lower guards on the occipital bone to make it look lighter and blend better? Or just leave it dark?

Where you located ? When this corona virus goes down ima fly out to you since all the barbershops been closed I have a helmet on my head now and I usually get a #5 on top but I got light corners so I do #6 now so I wanna look extraaaa crispy
@MrKingPerfect4 жыл бұрын
You are an elite barber and far better than me but when occipital areas are dark like that I would pull the skin and make sure it’s stretched and use that tiger claw method game changer talks about the standard and the reverse . That really lightens up dark spots
@oscarfig19904 жыл бұрын
When the back taper look like that it's not much you can do. You supposed to keep it low. But he came it with it in the worst place. either you go extra high and make it look like a drop fade with a faint line up, or just do what Bossio did and just leave it looking blotchy. My neck dose the same thing. Its really no fading that out, its mad frustrating.

I started cutting my son and a friend now little by little i have a bunch of people I cut and feel more confident. If you can cut and save $$ and go to an expo. And get to meet people and grow. Thats what im looking forward to this year. Im also trying to get into school to get licensed but everything is closed for now so I have to wait
