I use an oxiclean paste to treat my car carpets if there are stains or set in sticky snacks from kids. Really helps. Then use a carpet shampooer to really get it clean

Well, I gotta tell ya, the tip on cleaning that *%^&$! Black stove was golden. I have never regretted a purchase so much as buying a black stove, what a pain!. So thank you! I'm going to try that tonight.

Yeah... black is a pain. You will need to rinse the oxiclean off when you are done.. otherwise, it leaves a white residue. Let me know how it goes

You can try using a scraper sold at hardware stores or a razor blade. But to avoid scratches, follow this advice: The angle of blade and lubrication are KEY! On GLASS: use a 45% angle, keep the blade edge level and flat. Spray in front of the stain. You can use something like Sprayway glass cleaner. Spray in FRONT of the blade. Here is the trick so you do NOT create scratches. ONLY slide the blade forward. When the pass is done lift the blade off the surface and back to the starting point, spray in front of the blade again. NEVER EVER go back and forth with a razor blade when you are cleaning a glass surface.

Cleaning rust stains in my stainless steel sink by sprinkling on wet sink and leave set for a while. But check label first mine is very old and couldn’t make it worse!
