I take good care of my 17 year old car---I'm not a smoker, never have been, nor were the previous owners; no eating in the car, no open beverages, no pets of any sort (just don't have any), rarely any passengers---but because I was so severely injured in an accident at work almost 8 years ago, it's really hard for me to do as good a cleaning as I want to do. I don't "let it go," but I'd sure love to find as conscientious a detailer as Mitch is!

My Dad is a Pro detailer also. After serving in the Navy, he began his passion and career in working on dealership cars for over 20 years. His military uniform had to be spotless all the way down to his shoes, lol. 😄 He just enjoys keeping himself and whatever he has clean...especially his cars! Watching these videos bring back nostalgia when my Mom would pick him up from work and we would wait in the breakroom for him to close up shop. The cleaning fragrances he used for the interior and tire dressing were 😍 to my nose as a child (still ❤ it). My favorite car scent btw is Piña Colada. Thank you for awesome content! 🙌

They sell backseat protectors that do a great job in keeping your back seat area clean with even large dogs. They are easy to put up and remove to clean when needed and will keep the back seats, floor and door panels really clean.

On future details that require you to remove the seats make sure you know how it is supposed to be installed. A lot of newer models require you to replace the bolt since they are installed using torque to yield bolts. If you reuse the bolts they may fail in a crash which could open you up to a lawsuit and possibly criminal charges if someone is seriously injured or killed as a result of your actions.

Are you serious?! There are seats out there that require torque to yield fasteners? How is that even possible as the yielding portion is the bolt and typically it is stud welded to the floor pan.

I guess the owner has never heard of dog hammocks. I have a lively Alaskan Husky, who sheds like there is no tomorrow in the spring and racks ice and snow in winter. Yet my SUV leather interior is spotless because I restrict him to the back seat, which is safer and is set up to keep his mess contained. Once a week I vacuum the back and once a month wash the hammock. Great job by the way!!

Here's a question for you, Mitch. How many microfiber towels do you go through on a detail like the white Ram here? I see at least four different ones, but I'm sure they get soaked and are less effective as you continue using them. How many washes do the towels take before you don't use them again? Been awhile since I've tuned in, and great move on starting your own line of car care products. I purchased some of your earlier third party recommendations and they didn't disappoint. I noticed a lot of small dings on the exterior finish of this truck, and I wonder if you've ever been asked or offered to apply touch-up paint. Doesn't take long for an exposed area to start rusting especially in your neck of the woods with road salt or brine being applied this time of year.

This truck took 10 hours...so probably not. And when its cloth seats, those take some time to dry. I'd imagine these are 2 days to complete. But who knows, this is his full time job, so maybe he does it all in one day.

Happy New Year. I had a 2012 dodge ram 4x4 sport. I loved it. But I lent it to my stepdad for a week because he said his truck won't pull the trailer he had to bring to his house. He did, and when he brought it back, it was damaged on the front and rear, and it was smoking. I asked him what happened, and he said that my truck wasn't worth shit. Sorry for using that language. So I traded it in on a brand new 2018 GMC Denali 4x4 and I told everyone that they were not borrowing this truck for anything unless I'm the one driving it. Again watching your video brought back good and bad memories.
