Have owned a front loader for 17 years...never had these issues. After each wash pull out dispenser drawer and leave open washer door a few inches. Once a month run a clean washer cycle using 1/4 cup bleach.

I’ve had the same front loader for almost 17 years and was told by the salesperson to always leave the door cracked between loads and open the dispenser drawer. That really cuts down on some the issues you see. I run a cleaning cycle on the 1st of each month. I bought the front loader because it had a sanitize cycle with extra hot water for cloth diapering and that machine is still going strong. People need to maintain the machines that clean for them (dishwasher, vacuum, etc…)

It's not the washers fault Prop the door open, prop the drawer open and that's most of the battle Use very little liquid soap and fabric softener. Use lysol laundry sanitizer in the bleach dispenser each wash amd run a citric acid clean cycle every 6 weeks This is nothing compared to some

I am glad that I never own a front-load washer, almost bought one, because they say the front-load washer used less water and electricity and is gentle on your clothes. You have to clean the rubber ring, clean the filter, for mold & mildew. I am glad I stuck with the top-load washer. 😊

No it's not you just have to properly maintained it and take care of it -15 years old and it's an LG I also have a 21 year old Frigidaire front loader they are amazing THEY DON'T MAINTAIN THEMSELVES!!

You should retry cleaning the bathtub jets and use a Steam Cleaner.

I have owned a front load washer my entire life and never had this issue you just leave it open like a few inches after watches (also leave the dispenser tray open) and once a month or twice a month run a cleaning cycle

Let’s just say a front loader isn’t for lazy people! Wash machines have to be cleaned no matter if they are a front loader or not… if you never clean it your clothes won’t get clean eother

Dont do anything to your washing machine unless you know for SURE you know exactly what you're doing. Take time and watch tutorials.

bull shit. why use your "favorite" bowl to do something like that? What are you people doing to your front loaders? lol Mine is just fine. Theres no mold and the gasket isn't holding water to create a smell.

Exactly. I have that new Combo washer dryer- 1 machine! Just a little maintenance is all it takes. Only issue with this combo is cleaning the filter.
