Beautiful enclosure. Please try to get a bigger wheel for your hammy because he is quite large, he needs at least 28 cm diameter, or more, even 30-32. Your current 25 cm wheel is perfect for a dward hamster, but your syrian's backbone curls in it, you can see at 3.54, lifting his head. He shouldn't. Great job anyway!

Thank you! I was planning on getting him a new one for a while and I just upgraded his wheel haha ☺️ It should be seen in the next themed cage video.

i would definetely take out the christmas decorations, they’re very cute but they’re also possible hazards that could lead to choking or other damage :/ also please try to only spot-/half clean the enclosure since it is very stressful for the hamster
never take all the bedding! It stresses the hamster when it doesnt smell like home. You should only do spotcleaning.

@@callmekawaii7840 Hm I remember hearing something like that from Victoria, what I mean is that yes you should be spot cleaning, but every few months you should go in and do a deeper clean. You can put some dirty bedding from before back into the cage to add the hamsters scent. Sorry but you shouldn’t assume that I’m that uneducated on hamsters, I’ve literally binge watched most of Victoria’s videos
@callmekawaii78403 жыл бұрын
@@erase_mello so which is it? A full clean, or taking out most of the bedding and putting some back in? Be more specific when you’re giving advice- you’ll thank me later
@erase_mello3 жыл бұрын
@@callmekawaii7840 -_- you take out the stuff, you clean everything, you put mostly fresh bedding in, but you put in some old bedding in for the scent.
Idk but if you are from Germany write this in google: aquariumbau kurowski (kurowski is not a german word i think it's a last name of someone or just the name of this "company" (?) ) They have good glas cages for hamsters, and it's ok from the price Maybe they sell to other countries too but I really don't know. Just search it !

That cute hamster will get stressed if you remove all the bedding. It will adjust again for the new environment. 😟 Don't remove all the bedding so its scent will still be there.

Oh may I ask why? I never heard we need to hold him with our 2 hands and holding him on his chest with one hand like this can cause any harm or health issues. I'm finding paper and article stating this harming concerns too. Would be appreciated if you have one. 😊🙏🏻
@hungrybunny86814 жыл бұрын
Just search how to hold your hamster.u would have the right answer n reason why 😊
@Myynari4 жыл бұрын
@@hungrybunny8681 Sorry but this is my nature I ask before I believe something. As I can't find any proof just now(but I'm trying! I have searched for an hour already 😊) so I think the reason why someone suggesting holding hamster with 2 hands is to prevent falling, squeezing and hamster biting(when they're not tamed they won't let you hold them at all and scooping them up is letting them escape before they bite). But I still can't find out why holding him on his chest is harmful in anyway. I never let him fall, never squeeze and Mantou is tamed. He always see my hand before I pick him up. When he looks unsure I let him smell my hand too. How ever, I still looking for any paper or article proving this is harmful. I would stop doing it! As I can't find any so if you have it please send it to me or at least explain the reason.
