Hello, I hope this video finds you well! I used to have a hard time keeping my home clean, but lately I’ve realized that it has been much easier to stay on top of things. I tried to identify a few tips and products that I feel have drastically reduced the amount of effort it takes me to clean my home. I have found that understanding how to use a few natural cleaners can reduce the amount of different products that I use. They also have been more effective than most commercial cleaners. I also focused on decluttering the bathrooms and laundry room. This is my first time decluttering my home because it felt wasteful to get rid of anything. After a change in mindset, I realized the real waste would be keeping things I didn't use when I could give them to others who would use them. I've always had a hard time letting go, but some times we have to give ourselves a little grace and learn to let go of items that didn't turn out as expected or that we won't use. I contacted friends, family, and donation centers to relocate any items that didn't have a purpose in my life. I feel lighter now after decluttering and with a better understanding of myself, I plan to make more mindful purchases in the future. I hope you enjoy! Wishing you a wonderful week and hope to see you in my next video as well ❤ I hope to have a better video next time!

To by mě moc potěšilo. Helena

Kimchi jjigae is always a good choice! It's probably my favorite stew haha And yes, Barkeepers removes stains so easy! I tried a baking soda paste first and it didn't even budge the baked on soy sauce/sugar/oil sauce. I usually just use a regular, soft sponge and it still dissolves the staining. I'm so grateful to hear that you enjoy the videos and found something helpful! I'm trying to learn from your videos as well on how to style my home as well as you do! I had also heard many good things about Olay, so I purchased the makeup remover with confidence. Unfortunately, it reacted negatively with my skin and caused me to breakout. I was sad it didn’t work for me, but I understand skincare is personal and what works for others may not work for me. None of the decluttered products in the boxes were thrown away. I found people to give them to that could use them or donated them. Thank you for watching ☺️

@lifebymelaniee
@lifebymelaniee Ай бұрын
Hello, thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! ❤ I will try my best to answer the question ☺ I wouldn’t necessarily say that I’ve adopted or learned any mannerisms. My thoughts, and day to day behaviors are my own and have been fairly consistent throughout my life. I try to live a mindful lifestyle that I hope is reflected in my videos. My cooking style, on the other hand, has changed (which may be what you are referring to when you said mannerisms along with the choice of video style (just correct me if I’m wrong 😊) I started learning how to cook Asian food when my boyfriend said that he loved food and confessed that he preferred when I cooked Asian recipes. My boyfriend is Asian, and grew up eating a lot of Asian foods. After cooking for him, we both ended up preferring Asian foods so that’s mostly what I cook now. I think using chopsticks becomes natural overtime and they are easier to use than other utensils once I got accustomed to them ☺ As for video style, I didn’t like talking in front of a camera, so silent vlogging felt more natural and aligned with my personality and lifestyle. I hope this answered your question, feel free to ask anything in the future! ❤ I’m thankful you are enjoying the channel, and I hope I can continue making videos you enjoy ☺ Have a nice day!

Hi! I am new to ur channel🥰 And absolutely loved it.. my GOD, ur way of cleaning is so appreciable & spot on👌🏻love ur aesthetics too.. everything is so beautiful, super clean, well organised & a treat to the eyes😍 I hv a question- everything is white, & of neutral colours which looks amazing, but how do u maintain all these? I mean maintenance of lighter colours is quite time consuming right.. I am from India.. here after cleaning, the very next day dust collects🤷‍♀️ & it’s a task to maintain neutral colours though they r lovely.. & it’s soo frustrating to clean & maintain well which gives me anxiety.. as u r working, how do u find time to clean, do the chores & keep everything spick & span? I am not working, I am a home maker but still find it hard to manage everything 😬any tips would help 🥰

Hi! Thank you so much for watching my video! I’m happy to have you here 🥰 I used to struggle with keeping my home clean as well, so don’t feel discouraged! Finding a routine and learning to enjoy the process is hard but rewarding! This reply might be a little long, but I will be happy if it is of any help ❤ I think one of the biggest things that helps me maintain a clean home while working is always cleaning things as I go as well as not having an excess amount of items in my house to clean. For example, I try to keep the dishwasher unloaded once the dishes are washed, so I can load dirty dishes immediately throughout the day/week. I, also, try to wash as many "hand wash only" dishes as I can while cooking, so there is less to do afterwards. If a task takes less than 2 minutes, I try to do it right away such as wiping out the sink and putting away products after washing my face or wiping down the countertops after cooking. I try to never leave a room empty handed that way items stay picked up around the house. We have a “no shoe” policy in the house which eliminates a lot of the dirt and dust that would come into the house otherwise. I feel like there are a lot of things that I can’t fit all in a few videos haha My previous video is a cleaning video that focuses on a morning to evening routine that you might like ❤ The title is “Cleaning & Self-care | How to maintain a clean home while cooking daily” As for maintaining cleanliness of neutral colored items: For white dish clothes, I wash them in sodium percarbonate and hot water if they become dirty or stained during use. So far this has always made my dish cloths bright white again. I show how to do this in my video titled “Kitchen cleaning tips | How to care for wooden utensils”. Our cabinetry is white, so I use drawer liners to protect the inside of the drawers from becoming dirty or scratched, and I clean the outside with Magic Eraser sponges (linked in description). When I purchase storage items, I prefer white bins that that look uniform, so I try to make sure they are made from stain resistant materials (my favorite is the Kuggis bins from Ikea). I am also always washing my hands while cooking and cleaning and first thing when I get home. I wash my hands a bit obsessively, but it keeps the transfer of dirt or food products (when cooking) to other surfaces to a minimum. I use an ostrich feather duster for quick efficient dusting. I hope some of this tips are useful for you. Have a wonderful day ❤☺
