Nice. I won't recommend using a wrench to remove the bolts on the faceplate, use à socket with tape or paper between the surface and the wrench itself, these are the reason why there's so many of these receiver who have scraches near these bolts.

To Hifi Barcelona: Beautiful job, nice video. So nice to see someone doing a simple, though not unskilled, job so well.

Vacuum cleaners create a heck of a lot of static electricity. That is by far the best way to fry any sensitive components

What material did you get to clean up the knobs and faceplate? I am a little skeptical of causing some damage to the numbers and so

Warm water and neutral soap. And tooth paste to disolve the nicotinne

Hi, I have an old Technics SU-V6 that looks nearly identical to your amplifier inside. What electrical cleaning solutions do you recommend? I need to get mine up and running again; my late father would be thrilled if I could pull it off and get it working.
@HifiBarcelona Жыл бұрын
First a vacuum Tube and a brush. And when most of the dust has gone, a brush and isopropilic alcohol.
