Hi Randi! Yours is the cleanest 'dirty' BBQ grill I have ever seen! 😊 I use clear top coat nail polish around the bottoms of my garden iron candle holders to stop the rust marking the patio. Maybe you could test run on a small item to see if that works for you.

If you heated up your grill for about 5-10 minutes (only has to get about 250) the grease will liquify and it will be easier to use your brush to get everything off your grill. Then you can proceed with your system. Just a little hack I've learned over the years.

I wonder if you can find some non-sudsing Ammonia and a bin to soak those grill pieces? I do that with my stove top parts for the gas stove and it helps loosen the gunk with no elbow grease. I soak my parts with about 1 C of the Ammonia (it is the fumes that does the work) inside a vacuum bag overnight in the bath tub but a bin would work better given how large and how many pieces you have. Since this grill is outside you'll have all the ventilation needed. I generally don't need to do much other than scrub with a brush to remove the particles then rinse well. I would make a video except my current stove has been mistreated by previous tenants so no matter what I do the grill pieces look pretty sad. At least I can get them and the oven grills clean, though!

Hi there! The pressure washer we have isn’t made anymore. It’s 1650 PSI and it’s a portable, electric machine. The nozzle has 5-6 settings. It does connect to the hose for a water source.

My mom puts the oven racks in a black plastic bag and sprays them with oven cleaner and leaves them for a few hours and they always come out clean. Maybe that will work for the bbq grates?

The infamous grill.... the cleaning part of those grills is awful. If I was a house owner I would make a fire pit of course a safe one. The kind one would use when camping. That way its on the earth contained. Secondly not much to picking up & cleaning from that, in my view anyway. I always enjoy watching your new videos! Oh & because of your good idea placing your Cuisinart inside a metal container to lift out from cabinet, I bought one metal container with holes for handles for my Cuisinart. Wonderful idea those Cuisinarts are heavy!
