My braces are carbon fiber. I use Clorox type wipes in mine too when they get dirty.

I've had afos for over 30 years and I never seen removal foams. Mine are glued to the afo.

Most are glued to the bottoms, yes. Im not sure how long ago this started. Didnt know they existed until my,orthotics guy showed me
