As someone who is probably 2x+ in age, here is my sage advice. First off, follow your dreams. If you find someone who wants to pull you away from those dreams, they are not meant for you. Ride that dream (yes, pun intended) and you'll find someone who is riding the same path. A good partner is one who pushes you towards your dreams and goals, not away. Also, find a friend first, then romance. My wife (together for 24 years, married for almost 22) is my best friend first and foremost. The romance fades from a bonfire to low glowing embers as the relationship goes on, you need the fuel of friendship to keep it burning. Second, glad you were not injured with your fall and glad the bumpers kept your bike safe as well. Keep riding, both on your steel horse and your dreams, the rest of life will work itself out!
@KirstOn2wheelz7 күн бұрын
This is honestly such good advice. As sad as it is looking back into the relationship we never actually had that much in common in terms of hobbies. Finding a friend first is great advice and something that I will definitely be following. Really appreciate it. Thank you so much for the support 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶

Sending loving-kindness. I destroyed my first bike. Broke the frame at the yoke, twisted forks, and both wheels were busted. Hurt like hell but no bones were damaged. Luckily, I found the exact bike without an engine so I put mine in and updated the frame number. Cheap fix. My first and last road crash although off-road on the trails we all drop it sometimes haha 💜
