Someone on my floor tried to burn a candle once for literally 5 minutes and the fire alarms went off, some dorms are so crazy about that ... but when my friends heat was broken and wouldn't turn off and their room was 98 degrees for like 3 days, maintenance didn't think that was a priority, ugh

you can make your mattress pad stay by putting the fitted sheet on top of the normal mattress and the mattress pad! that’s what i did to fix mine and it stays now!

You should try sheet straps. They sell them at Target and they were a lifesaver for me to keep my mattress protector on or you can safety pin them on
