Cleaning My Indoor TURTLE POND!

The tank looks great! I always use a 1:1 ratio of apple cider vinegar and water in a spray bottle to clean the algae off the tank add ins. It is the safest cleaner for the animal. I use the same and a soft bristle toothbrush to clean my red eared sliders shell.

Carson get the one that hooks to the kitchen faucet it's about 50 feet and it makes it so much easier to change water as I had 15 tanks 2-55s,1-65,1-40,1-33,9-30s , a few 15s , and 10s so water change once a week was an all day thing Raised South American Ciclids, few flowerhorns, rainbows angels sharks and cories

Best way to have a clean habitate for sheldon is a bare bottom tank.

a bare bottom tank is really boring for turtles

@@emmas9920 If you're worry the turtle might get boring then get the turtle some friend, such as another turtle or few fish. get a air stone, a moss ball, a stone bridge, and a underwater shelter. Anything is better than sand. Sand is hard to clean and it can destroy the filter system.

@@Drakenrider thats true. idk how another turtle would be cause they can get territorial and might fight. I have a gravel bottom stank which he loves to dig in and a rock that he spins and watches. A few fish as well but he doesnt really pay them any attention

tip to keep your setup clean is to feed Sheldon in a separate container since turtles are messy eaters
