Cleaning my VW MK1 Fuel Tank with Vinegar! | Kromriver Hiking Trail

In this video, we give my FUEL TANK an acid wash with Vinager.
The boys and I also did the Kromriver hiking trail, and took everyone along with us!

howsit ashwin do u know what could be the issue on my golf 1 velo am getting a knock sound on full lock im running jom blue line coilovers i even replaced steering rack n shock mounting but same story i would be grate ful on ur feedback.

Rather rinse the tank with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol/methanol instead of water to protect it from potential rust.

That sounds like a way better idea, seeing that it will evaporate easily. 😅 I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. I made sure that I dried it out properly and left it in the sun for quite a while. I’m hoping that it won’t rust 🙈

@@BrokenLawGarage can be very expensive though man, iso alcohol is very expensive in some parts of the world, especially where I am in Australia... The Baking Soda method is way cheaper... Im doing a 55 litre tank clean and rinse and I don't have access to the tank freestanding... If I was able to have access to the tank freestanding I would be able to put a feasible amount in and swish it around... Otherwise doing a full rinse of 55 litres and yes you have to fill it to the bring to prevent flash rush is $$$ man... Just some info I thought might help anyone out who is reading the comments... Love your videos man and channel, keep it up. subbed to you my man!

Hi bro. I basically used steel wire and bent it so that I could hook the top of the filter. It takes a little force, but will eventually come out. This might not be the best explanation, but I do hope that it helps in some way 👍🏽

It's because of the rattle , it's a common problem with the cv's

The CV Bolts from Goldwagen seems to work great, but I added some lock tight just to seal the deal 😅👍🏽
