My friend. Thank you for showing the inside of the washer and explaining those are indeed needed sponge pads and not throw away foam. I wasn’t sure and nobody else explained that or displayed it, but you did and now I love you.

one thing to note when handling resin prints, you should always wear gloves until model is washed and the resin has been fully cured. Uncured resin can cause skin irritation, and prolonged or repeated exposure can increase your sensitivity to that exposure.

Same with handling the IPA which was used. IPA dries out the skin and the resin residue in the IPA after cleaning can cause the same irritation. I learned that the hard way... you'll learn quickly after having itching irritations on your hands for weeks on end :(

TBH.... I never would've thought of putting the finished prints into a separate bag of IPA on it's own.... lot of cost saving with that method and a lot less clean up!! Thankyou so much!!! P.S. V.I.N.CENT is amazing!!! where did you get him from?!

In fact, after the cleaning solution is mixed with the resin solution, has the possibility of flammability or explosion been diluted? It stands to reason that the more turbid the cleaning fluid, the less dangerous it should be?

Great video, just one question. If the the waves travel through the bag and just interact with the IPA inside to clean the print, what is the use of filling the vat with liquid, can't you just place the bag inside with the IPA on its own ?

With all due respect I'm curious as to how the print is cleaned better when inside a ziplock bag? What does the cleaning station do to the print if the print is isolated in a seperate bag? Genuinely just curious and wanting to understand, thank you for your educational videos sir!

The wave vibrations travel through the bag. Its the same as having it out the bag but protect the isopropyl from blowing up

I think I may make a system that drains it and passes it through filters into a sealed container and then will it back up for you as well that way it helps keep the ipa clean and in a sealed container when not in use

I just bought this device and I don't understand, I thought you were supposed to be able to use alcohol in it. I don't know how to make that mixture that you have and there is no link to the supplies for that. Can't I just use 70% isopropyl alcohol? Also, I'm making parts for auto interiors and I need something that is resistant to heat and is strong. What resin do you recommend? Right now I'm using uniformations resin. Does uniformation resin require alcohol or water sorry I'm new to this and I don't understand.

As long as you are in a well ventilated area away from anything that could cause a spark you should be okay but take heed. Alcohol vapours and ignition sources don't mix.

It requires alcohol. You can get water washable resins though which eliminate the need for alcohol completely. You can then just use that green cleaner or even water directly.
