Excellent effort to educate people and providing awareness about precious water life line. I have one small suggestion that these plants are called Wastewater Treatment Plant instead of Water Treatment Plants. Generally Water Treatment terminology is used to clean the water from groundwater, surface water (dams or rivers) and to supply for drinking water purposes. On the other hand, wastewater treatment plants clean the water from domestic and industrial catchments and discharges to water bodies or reused for irrigation of playgrounds etc.

Totally agree with you Samad. We are almost 1300 million people in India. We still need more resources and awareness to achieve it. The work has already begun. Lets join our hands, we will do it.

I recently went to roorkee and i found that water in ganga canal was quite clean. I think that the concept of cleaning at source is much important. Pollution must be treated at source. The problem is that costly electricity makes the operation of sewage treatment unviable. The government needs to look at it.

Totally agree with you Utkarsh. Cleaning at source is the key.

only govt will look at it will not works never we the people must have to comply our parts our duties our contributions then only good results can be seen within 5 - 10 years

@@gauttamlnt small industries can't compete if the cost of manufacturing goes up. Eventually, they will vanish and the economy will suffer. Lack of resources, scale and finance restrains the small industries to adjust the environmental damage cost and hence, only with govt support this situation can be resolved.

@@utkarshagarwal5103 I agreed with your earlier comment also but I just wanted to add that when you said at source it means we the peoples are the main source hence first of all we have to start it from our end & then only expect from govt.

Strict enforcement of laws and weeding out corruption are the two most important aspects of smooth and efficient functioning of policies and procedures impossible to implement in India. Here the policy makers, the administration and the masses are equally at fault with utter disregard of the environment and the subsequent impact it will have on our ecosystems.
@PinNPost2 жыл бұрын
I do agree with you Rajib, but education and awareness are equally important too.
