Cleaning seats and interior of the Polestar 2

The interior fabrics of the Polestar 2 can mark pretty easily, but they can also be cleaned and brought back to looking like new with little effort also.
I use Auto Finesse cleaning products, but any interior cleaning product will help you clean the seats, door cards, etc inside your Polestar 2.

One of my worries about the slate Weavetech I ordered is that it will pick up greasy marks and stains like this. Nice to see the material bears up well to cleaning.

Yeah, seats and door trim are dirt magnets, but clean ups simply enough.

Could you do a hood latch adjustment video? For the life of me I cannot set the proper height of the hood without it rattling. I think that is causing sound over rougher roads. But there is ALWAYS play in the hood latches no matter what position I set them at.

Thanks for adding a comment, unfortunately I have not had any alignment issues with my hood, so not something I can make a video on at the moment, as my messing my might mine rattle also :( Can your local dealer not remedy this for you?

Hi Dan, I have LOADS of their products. I don't think I have not liked any of their products. In terms of products I use of theirs the most : Avalanche Snow Foam, Iron Out Contaminant Remover, Lather Shampoo, Barrel Wheel Brush, Aqua Deluxe Towel, Gloss Tyre Dressing, I also use the Handi Puck Kit. I have the Ceramics kit also, but only had a chance to try that on my Motorbike so far.

@@abuzertahir For something simple and no machine, I would go with their Tripple product. Goes on easy and doesn't leave alot of residue, its a polish, glaze and wax. Great if your not looking to spend alot of time car detailing, and don't want to shell out for alot of gear. Hope it helps.

Do you know if Gyeon Q² LeatherShield works on these seats? The WeaveTech part of the seats. I used to protect my Tesla seats with that product

I have not used Gyeon Q² LeatherShield so cant really comment, but I personally would avoid a leather specific product on the weave interior. I have the Auto Finesse interior ceramic kit, but not yet had time to try it. I would consider something like that, which is a universal interior ceramic coating.

Any tips for denim transfer onto leather seats?

Gliptone leather cleaner is what I use for that. I used to have cream leather in my old Evora and blue denim marks were a royal pain. However, the gliptone cleaner and conditioner always cleaned things up nicely. They can even do dye colour match if you need it on older seats. www.liquidleather.co.uk/leather-care-c57/cleaners-c84

my girlfriend ate ice cream in my Polestar and i later found a white mark on the yellow belt. Any tips on how I can remove it or is it done for?

I suggest using non fragrance baby wipes. My kid did similar with chocolate. So may the marked belt area damp (not really wet) and pad (don't scrub) it with baby wipes to gently pull the stain out.

I think you would have to have alot of sweat for this to be an issue. Mine is 2 years old, and still look like new after a wipe down.

@@SpectrumGeeks because I live in a really humid country. Anywhere from 80-90% humidity and sweat can be a huge factor. I’m worried if I get the car, the sweat will seep into the fabric. Thanks for the help!
