@Okiescrapper2 жыл бұрын
yes, they are easy to clean, I get people tell me they just tossed them in with the shred. or dirty copper, you won't get rich from doing them, but they add up after a while

pretty big pain doing all the camera stuff but if its any consolation I appreiciate it. by the way when you do you smelting if its not to much trouble i would like to see a little clean up of your pour in the end to see a clean end result.. ? love your smelting with the home made blue forge means more to me than the propane one. love that you made your own. you could wind up with carple tunnel doing all those dryers. LOL. NICE profit on the last sell im impressed..! well worth the time spent. at 65 myself working for someone else wish I had picked your direction for money making you must have some good connections for product . thanks again young man. yeah, the camera stuff can be a pain, trying to make sure that you keep what you are doing in the frame, and getting the angle right, It would be much easier with a camera person, but I don't think I could talk the wife into filming me for that long in the heat. I need to move the blue furnace over to the shade trees and melt what I can, so I can get a lot or two on ebay.

You might want to avoid cutting into the drying beads to much as the dust is very bad to breath, I don't remember what they are made of. Also when you use the aluminum bus bars you need to use an oxidation inhibitor paste, I found the one that we used at the power company on the internet, it is called Contax, CTB8Thomas & Betts Contax Oxidation Inhibitor, it comes in an 8 oz bottle and it was $12.75, probably more now. I use it on my battery posts and connections and found that the posts were just as clean as the day I put the cable on. Keep up the great videos and God bless you and your family.

Did a scrap pick up today, was told it was just a washer and dryer, Ute and trailer load of aircons later still have to go back for more.
@Okiescrapper2 жыл бұрын
that's the way I like it, I find most pickup's they have more then they tell you, I ask if they have a truck load (big or little truck) truck and trailer load (big or little Trailer) and do I have room to turn the trailer around, Google Maps is a great tool to see their yard

Those tubes come from dryers? Never seen them before, what are the beads for?
@Okiescrapper2 жыл бұрын
no the tubes are dryers, from freezers and fridges, to pull any moisture from the system, you can buy some dryers with beads for an air supply system to get any moisture out of air lines for say running a plasma cutter
@michealklonowski52672 жыл бұрын
question for you what are those beads made of do you know ?.
