Well done. I clean mine every season or whenever I remove the wheels for a tire change or when changing the brake fluid.

some technicians dont actually advise pushing the pistons on a brake caliper specially if it is a abs unit coz it might damage the abs module,if doing so cant be avoided they advise to open the brake master cap,not sure though

Great video. Some people apply grease to the brake pad pin. You dont use anything on it do you?

Thank you for your very informative video. My rear break is binding, causing the disc to become very hot and thus causing the inner mud guard arm to melt😳. I will have to strip the back Caliper down and clean👍

I had a similar problem, it's verty common and I suspect mostly unnoticed that the front slider pin drys out corrodes ans sticks, every time you clean the caliper you should also separate it from the mounting/slider bracket, clean and lubricate the pins (with rubber friendly grease) and re-assemble prior to re-fitting the caliper. My rear brake was working fine but not sliding on the pins, so only the piston side pad is effective. Symptoms are piston side pad wearing more and some tightness/binding of pads with resultant heat from mild to serious. after lubricating the slider pins, things work much better. PS: Great video, thanks!

Check your foot brake pedal for free play. If you have ever dropped the bike it is easy to bend pedal and cause drag.

Hey, not connected to this video but how many miles did you get out of them tires?

I took them off as they pulled to the left, swapped them for Next 2"s which are very good and no pulling/veering.
