Sad news. My sincere condolences. The project now can be dedicated to your dad, Haven't built an airplane yet but have built two houses and I constantly find that I can feel my dad looking over my shoulder, checking my work for quality assurance.

Sorry for your recent losses. Hopefully, you'll find getting back regularly on the Cricket project will be therapeutic. As you get back on the project, some unsolicited advice: stay focused on completing what you've started and don't take on new modifications, especially those requiring disassembly and reassembly of existing structures, and finish the plane and fly it! You've already firmly established this is YOUR unique airplane (looks great!) and what you'll find is that even after the airworthiness is awarded and your flying, you're never really finished - you can then modify and improve to your heart's content, but you will not be under a self-imposed pressure to complete the airplane. Hang in there - plan your work and work your plan!

I am very sorry about the death of your father in June and that of your dog recently. It's nice that you're working on your 750 Cricket again and that you're not stressing about whether you can make it to Oshkosh 2024 with your plane. Sometimes life just gets in the way.

Joe, my father-in-law also suffers from exposure to agent orange. He transported and loaded the agent in the aircraft spraying it. Some days are good, and others are not so good. He tells me he actually died over in Vietnam when he was messing with the agent, but he slipped through deaths fingers and is now constantly playing hide-n-seek with him. VA doesn’t do much for him, because I don’t think they know what to do. Tough old guy what he’s been through.

Does your GRT avionics interface with Aircraft Automation trim tab Autopilot?

It will send GPS data to it, but I am going to link it to my G175 for guidance.
