Hi, just want to say, I’m so pleased I found your video. After all my Christmas crafting, My circut mats were filthy. Wasn’t a 100% sure about how to get them clean. All I had was baby wipes. Well, after having a go, I’m pleased to say, they have come so clean they looking great and are sticky again. Thank you very much for your advice. From a UK watcher. Best wishes for 2022.

this was great! Thank you. How do I flatten my mats? the edges are slightly lifted and i think this is affecting my machines sensors with detecting my mats :(

Used the Lysol wipe trick for the first time. I can’t believe how much better they work than my baby wipes! I’ll try the Windex one when I find some because that looks way easier

Very useful... if i wouldve known this a few months ago i wouldnt of threw my other one away. 😂😂 I used the Clorox wipes, they help but, it doesn't get all the fuzzys off. I kept my clear plastic that came with it and when it's not in use I keep this over it. It helps as well!!

Awesome will remove the glue on matts. ONLY use it if you want to restick your matts

Thank you for this video! I have done the dawn dishwashing liquid and scrub the mat however the sticky-ness was less than before I washed the mat, has this ever happened to you?

Yes! You may be putting too much pressure when you scrub, which is then taking off some of the adhesive. 😊

I've tried other methods of cleaning the mats, but I like using dawn dish liquid better. If the mats loose the adhesive to it, it's good to use adhesive spray and let it dry

I used baby wipes on my green mat and stick didn’t come back. My dirty blue mat is stickier. 😢

I never realized how much of a problem pet hair was, before I got into crafting. It gets onto Cricut mats, into resin, etc. It's everywhere! Lesson? I will NEVER eat at a pet owner's house again. UGH!

Great tips for cleaning but vinegar can damage granite countertops and the sealer on top. Can cause etching. Look it up online.

I have been using the goo gone, scrape, wipe, painters tape off and spray loctite removable for years.

Doesn't the goo gone remove the sticky adhesive? That's what it's designed to do

@@TechCristina I just remove the top portion of gunk. I do not let it sit for any amount of time. If you watch Kelly Barlow creations she has the process. I have been doing it this way for years and the spray adhesive puts the tack back. I did not have any luck with baby wipes or the dawn dish soap. Have not tried the windex. Hobby lobby now has pretty good inexpensive mats as does Amazon so I buy when any of them have a good sale.
