I’m probably considered a “super clean person” by others, even with a new baby and two cats. From the list, I do everything (except the dishwasher tip because I hand wash everything). For example, I’ve gone as far as to forcibly train my in-laws to take off their shoes at the door. I even have a bleaching schedule. People randomly visit my home quite often, whether it’s neighbors or coworkers. After these visits, I’ve had several people tell me they were inspired to declutter or clean their own homes for some reason. However, I still feel like there’s always room for improvement in my cleaning routine, which is why I enjoy watching this lovely channel.

I’m not super clean or super tidy but living in a studio the bed has to be made. The laundry has to be processed quickly. The kitchen has to be kept clean. It’s as simple as that. But honestly, I don’t understand why people won’t take 10 seconds in their day to make the bed. Oh and yes shoes off always!

If you don't learn as a child at home, you will have problems growing up. My Cousin never had to learn things like that, and his Girlfriends broke up with him because they were sick of playing "mommy". To me less, mess, less stress. I have a Sofa Bed but I always fold it away before going to work. On Saturday, I clean with my mom and don't you know that The Kitchen & Bathroom are the busiest in the house. After dinner, we use paper plates for snacks, and we don't have dirty dishes in the sink after 9:00 PM.

I was raised in a home that was relatively clean and tidy, although not excessively so, but this definitely impressed me as the proper home environment. I wish my parents had actually required more of us, such as changing air filters and (having someone) cleaning rain gutters--things that I had to figure out on my own as an adult. My point would be to involve your kids, at least from time to time, in non-daily/weekly tasks, even just as helpers or spotters. Thanks for your helpful videos!

The life changer for me is drying off my tile walls after every shower. It takes an extra minute but it’s soooooo worth it!

I've noticed that not leaving water in general makes a difference. For example, I make sure my sink is dry around my faucet if I've had the water running for a while. I don't have to deal with rust stains or hard water stains because it doesn't accumulate.

My thing with lists, I have trouble tracking them. But I do enjoy making a list of accomplishments. Maybe it's backwards, but I enjoy a task completed more than one I need to do. Reminding myself how well I've done energizes me to take more on.

Yes, I take my shoes off before entering the house. I even take slippers to others homes because I hate walking into other people’s homes in my shoes. Making my bed in the morning, I always feel it needs to air out before covering it over. I’ve read it’s healthier that way, too. For the bathroom fan, they now make digital timer switches so you can select 4 different preset times from 10 minutes to 60 minutes, then it turns off the fan. That is genius. Otherwise I’d leave the fan running longer than intended and bathroom fans are a fire hazard if they are left running too long. However, as a person with ADHD that relapsed in perimenopause, clean as you cook or as you go just grates on my nerves. I had to clean the kitchen behind my ADHD father as a young adult and he trashed the place, so I get it. I do try to clean as I go, I also have a bazillion thoughts going through my head at any one time and a bazillion other tasks I’m trying to do as well. “Clean as you go” is advice that sounds helpful but is not straightforward for neurodivergent people.

Actually I’ve started to UNMAKE my bed each day and we are sneezing a lot less around here. I saw a video about the benefits of rolling your top sheet and covers down to the foot of the bed each morning, leaving the bottom sheet exposed, preferably to sunlight, because it kills dust mites. I leave it exposed for most of the day and don’t make my bed until around 5pm as the sun hits that room in the afternoon.

An issue in my house; we have an elderly person and a disabled person. Both need their shoes and one also has a wheelchair. Which is also icky. Sooo, the shoe thing goes out the window. More important to have stability and not end up on the floor. Makes me wear my shoes more.... Idk, maybe I should use those cleaning socks more often 😁 They're gimmicky, but they're great cleaning tubs & showers! I use desk organizers in the fridge👍 I need them because I'm short & have short arms. It's so much easier to pull out trays (To elaborate, I have trays for butter, cream cheese, regular cheese, and vegetables. Some so I can pull things off the top shelf without climbing things, others so they're bundled up & not splayed everywhere, reducing surface space). I remember mentioning this before, and some thought it was dumb. But if it actually helps, then it's worth considering 🤷♀️ I also got bins for my pantry. I tried not to, but I like to cook. It's hard to do so when stuff gets lost, and constantly having issues with thinking you have more supply than you do is really annoying. The containers reduced the boxes, bags, and jars everywhere, and I can see the amounts 👍

I get most of My Mail in an E-Mail but when I do get Mail, my mother puts it in my room where I can see it. Letters are a must because you never know you'd get a check from a Company who may have forgotten to pay you. i saw The Hoarders show and a Man had a $800.00 Check on his desk but it was too late to cash because it was over a year. : - (.

2:05 We rent our house from a Chinese landlord. We take our shoes off out of respect for her. We didn’t do it when we owned a house. We do see a difference in the floors. Whenever we get to buy a house, we will probably continue this practice.

Always shoes off at the door & indoor slippers on. It’s something that my sisters & I were taught growing up in rainy, muddy UK. It’s automatically done in Turkey where my parents are originally from & the Middle East too.

I've been using a squeegee after my showers for years and years, and it really helps to keep the bath tub and shower clean! It only takes a few minutes, and makes such a big difference. Once you get into the habit, you don't even think about it, it's automatic!

Shoes definitely off when I walk in the house. Think about the places you may go during the day and the hundreds if not thousands of people that use the same spaces. Public toilets and grocery stores are just two examples. I am not always a neat person but the thought of bringing in who knows what on the soles of my shoes is just not pleasant.

Good Black Friday Mellisa M from Cold Chicago. I send you and your fans warm greetings. Please come to Chicago for a speaking, training tour. I seem to be cursed in two related areas. My neck size has always been 1 size to big for dress shirts, so I have a problem wearing a tie. I'm 6 ft 1 inches tall ~ 182, but my neck is more like a Football offensive lineman, so I have to wear huge balloon dress shirts to close the neck. Also (related". My fitted sheets never fit, they are always too small ( I guess I have a King size, maybe a Queen) show the fitted sheet never stays on at the pillow side, it makes it hard, impossible to make my bed in the morning.
