I’ve been using banila co’s purifying cleansing balm (purple) for years and it never broke me out. Everyone’s skin is different,just because it didnt work for you doesn’t mean it will not work others.

That DHC one I definitely learned my lesson with and will be getting my money back for. Made my skin even more irritated at that. I switched to a micellar water and sometimes use a CeraVe balm. So much more gentle for my sensitive oily skin.

yeah it really depends, I once used the dhc one and it didn’t work well for me, the texture is way to thick (I have oily combination skin) and it is hard to emulsify so it leaves remaining oil on my skin which leads to acne and clogged pores, glad that the dhc works well on you😢

It's not leave - on product so it will be rinsed off and leaves no any the pore clogging ingredients. In fact,the type of cleanser itself is pore clogging due to it is oil. Dont be afraid of pore clogging ingredients in wash - off products. It doesnt stay on your akin to absorb into your pores. What we should be afraid of cleanser is irritability and drying risk. Note that!

Just bcz this stuffs dont break u out, doesnt mean it is not non comedogenic! Mayno(i dont know the pronunciation) has Coconut oil in it,DHC has coconut oil in it, banico also had some comedogenic ingredients in it. I personally dont react to shea butter but alot pple i know do right away! Skin1004 cleansing oil is a hit for many pple, but broke me out due to it had 7% mct coconut oil in it.

These are all fine to use 1) The formulation matters more than just having ingredients that COULD be comedogenic 2) Everyone’s skin is different so you shouldn’t slap a blanket statement of DONT USE THIS on something if *your* skin had a bad reaction 3) Most of the time people aren’t aware you need to double cleanse when using an oil/balm. A decent amount of balms or oils will leave behind a film even if you emulsify the product and rinse it out Stop believing every single thing you see online and ESPECIALLY if the claim or statement being made is very vague or general.

oil cleansers remove the sebaceous filaments which then leaver pores that's why you should use foaming cleanser after it and use clay masks or charcoal face wash i use the swiss charcoal face cleanser after oil cleanser and my sebaceous filaments are barely existing
