When I was a kid, my mom said about the things I wanted and asked for that they were not meant for us because we’re not the lucky ones. It put me into a position where I’m not worthy, I cannot achieve my goals, and there is always someone above me, someone better who deserves the good life I only dream of. Been really struggling with these icky feelings as a stay home mom of 2 under 3. It's hard not to equate my self worth and value to the amount I bring to the financial table. Thank you for this, I came from a background that had all needs met, but not many wants. I am proud that I went on to pursue further education and earn a higher salary than my parents, they worked hard to raise me in a way that my life could be easier, I am grateful for that and i do what i can to give back to them. I also do my best to give back to the world, I know that i had privileges that others didn't, but I am also proud of what i did with what i received. I want to help others, but also enjoy myself and not live in constant guilt.

But I’ve always felt guilty for doing better and working harder. Maybe it’s leftover Catholic guilt…Whatever the reason, thank you for this.

Guilt is one of those things I wrestle with so much on a regular basis. It’s just a constant underlying emotion. I greatly appreciate this video, it’s come at a time when I seem to be struggling with guilt in the background more than ever. I think it’s because I’ve entered into my new job post graduation. I’m finally starting to feel like I’m approaching financially stability after many years of hardship and it’s been difficult to embrace without guilt. Thank you, this is reassuring 💕

One thing it would be good for us all to remember. The saying shouldn't be that money is the root of all evil. It's that the LOVE of money is the root of ALL KINDS of evil. Money itself is a tool and the good or evil comes in how you use it. For instance, I heard a story once of a person who wanted a fancy motorcycle. He saved up and bought it and a friend was berating him for not giving the money to charity. He pointed out that buy making his purchase, several people from factory workers to truckers to sales floor associates. Even the custodian who cleaned the dealership got to keep their job another day.

Perfect timing as always Jillian. I am really *loving* this series of videos. On the Full Moon in Aries I released my Fear of Receiving. I realized that fear has a lot more attached to it then I realized...that fear of receiving has really caused me to shut down. For me, it's always felt that everything I ever received had strings attached. Kind of like how when your dating a guy buys you dinner and after the third date he hints he thinks you owe him a visit to his place for some extra activities. 🤔 I watched this last night, I'm going to watch it this morning and this evening. 🙌 I've saved this to my list of favorites as I think receiving will be a lingering issue- it had been for many lives. It's called communicating my son asked me how much his dad makes and I asked him why he asked he said will we have enough to pay all the billß? And I told him of course we would and I told him everything is ok. Makes me realize what I should and shouldn't say when he's around. Children get such a short amount of time she be children and I think that that should be an enjoyable happy time in their life and it's why I don't try to burden my son with adult issues when he he'll be in an adult sooner rather than later and have plenty enough time to worry about that I don't situations right now I just want him to enjoy being a child and like you you might not have meant nothing bad by it when asking your mom he just might have wanted to know because either there's something that you wanted are you wanted to make sure that all the bills were paid that's perfectly normal I find that our parenting ways. Have change we don't parent like our parents used to bring more open and honest with our children

I have so much guilt about water. I feel so awful letting the water run while waiting for it to warm up to shower or wash my face and I think of all the people who don’t have access to clean water while I’m so blessed that I can just waste it because it’s too cold for my liking. I need to let it go, but it’s hard.
