Thank you all so much for your support! We are inching closer to 200 subs, which I know is still low, but the channel is growing, which is amazing! Couldn't do it without you all!

Excellent! I have no problem with the longer videos and your narration during the painting process. Thank you for sharing these videos. It's much appreciated.

Thanks for sharing your art. I kind of stumbled upon your channel. I am a beginner learning watercolor. A newbie interested in "plein air". It seems like most You Tubers painting outside are doing oil or acrylic. It kind of surpises me how much I can learn regardless of the medium the artist uses. Your explainations and talk through taught me a lot about expectations, perserverance and problem solving. I will be heading up the California coastline on Monday to paint while my boys fish and surf. Should be a hoot. Good thing I will not be expecting a masterpiece! If you hear a faint California echo lamenting "Just push through - It's only paper!" way over there in Arkansas it will probably be me.

Thank you so much for your comment! I truly appreciate you supporting my channel. I personally don’t know a lot about watercolors, but my wife has dabbled in them some. I do believe that Guerrilla Painter Brand has a plein air pochade box that is specifically made for watercolor artists. That might be something you want to check out if you don’t already have a plea in air watercolor setup. Best of luck to you though! Go have some fun!

Question for you all: I'm still playing around with the format of my complete painting videos. Is this working for you guys, or would there be other formats such as a sped-up process that would work better? Any ideas, or is this long format best for you all?

I tend to prefer videos that are edited to just under or about 30 minutes. But I love the artist's comments, what they like about the piece, what they are thinking and attempting to do and instruction or comments about how they are doing the different sections. So not too short either ;-)

PS The sped up videos I find least distracting are the ones that have voice over.

This is the FIRST one I have seen of yours. I like your long view. if people think it is too long they can speed it up by moving the time line ahead. I think you are doing a great job explaining everything. I love your landscape , colors and thank you so very much

After giving it more thought I agree with Sandra.

Thank you all so much for your comments! I have been down under the weather over the last week, so I haven't been feeling like painting. Hope to get back on it very soon!

Your method is...well... yours. I like it. I only speed mine up to keep my video length in the 12 minute range. Editing and uploading looks ne’er videos takes me a lot of time.
