What ministry? Have you read Catherine Booth who was very critical of people who wasted time, pretending to be preachers of the Gospel "...your talk will be as sounding brass or tinkling cymbal. I wonder how many people could play this solo with less than 24 hours notice. He wasn't even going to attend the concert and go asked as the last minute as the chosen person Roger Webster got injured and couldn;t play it.

Thank you make that 7 - please pray for John Gowlett of geelong Victoria, Australia - I'm thinking what a palaver, what a waste of person-power, who in the TSA is out helping the poor out of their poverty these days? certainly not this mob or David Daws. The writings of Catherine & William Booth don't say "occupy yourselves in the avoidance of helping the poor..."

I would like to point out that David was Helped With His Cornet Tuition in No Small part By My Dad(Bandmaster Alan Barrett at Greenford) who is in Heaven Looking down on him and Smiling Now. God Bless You David, You are an Exemplary Soloist that I dont think the Salvation Army Will Ever See or Hear again, on Cornet or Euphonium. Take Care.
