They can say anything I wouldn't ever trust police whether good or corrupt they all stick together lie in bed with each other even if he says he going to talk to his staff doesn't mean he will because they can all lie to the members of the public yes he might talk them he may not but on hearsay saying he has or he will can never be guarantee he will unless one can prove he has done it police are sly they all lie and one can easily tell with their demeanour with their nice talk whether there lips are moving is a way of them making stuff up unless one can prove this person has spoken to his staff about what Power is getting at I wouldn't necessarily believe it because no one can trust them they can lie they are able to lie the Courts have ruled in their favour for them to lie to the members of the public but if they are being criminally investigated and under oath in a Court of Law then they aren't able to do that necessarily when they act as aa witness or a suspect and being cross-examined by the Prosecution and the Defence but to a member of the public they can lie and they all do that to literally anyone even if they are under oath to act with honesty integrity and professionalism I never trust the police at all even if he is cordial professional in an interaction doesn't mean he doesn't lie and isn't two faced by the scenes because their is a rule not to trust the police unless you know that police officer in the police service that he doesn't do that and you know he or she doesn't

@@sebastianeisenberg3826 I understand your point, but my point is just that it’s good to see this type of interaction rather than police overreacting and using section 43 and just generally being a tyrant. This is a step in the right direction and it should be acknowledged if we want more of it. These audits have definitely been having a positive influence on the police, so if we want to see the corruption change we should acknowledge the positive changes.

From a point of logic, I'd stop under 163, for a liveried police car, when signalled to do so, because I may not know straight away the driver was a Pcso. I'm guessing Pcso's don't have the remit, to do 163's. I'm waiting on my education. 🤗
@johnscott4693
@johnscott4693 2 жыл бұрын
@@ianhill4585 I can only give all my legal view, based on two facts. 1 You must stop for a Constable in uniform. Lots of a case law about this, but in short “a car with a blue light is enough”. 2 You do not have to stop for a PCSO. Two sub Points! One you have stopped. If the Constable is himself in uniform, you can call for a liveried car / more police IF you feel vulnerable. Applies to lone females in deserted areas for example. If the Constable is not in uniform, you should always ask for a uniformed officer to arrive. If the driver is not a Constable, but a PCSO one of 2 things happens A) He is “giving traffic directions/ instructions” to the general traffic, or doing a census. That’s Lawful and must then be obeyed (may be another unusual exception listed but I can’t recall. Don’t think so!) BUT he had no legal right to stop you under s163. B) Anything else, drive off and make a complaint. He abusing his powers. No didn’t different from a guy in fancy dress stopping you - you’d assume he’s a PC. But once it’s clear he’s not, you’d drive off. NB. If you didn’t stop, I doubt you could be prosecuted but I’m aware of no case Law. It all depends on what’s meant by “traffic directions”. Most would say it’s “go down there, not there, stop as I act as traffic lights” and so on - ie based around “an incident” where traffic needs directing. If that’s not the case, the PCSO (in fact anyone other than a Constable or higher rank) has definitely exceeded his powers.

If it's a police policy (long since superseded) it has zero relevance to the Fire and Ambulance services who also chose to wear the red and green line symbols to honour their fallen and raise funds for their dependents. R Peel included a restriction in order to keep the police completely independent. Allowing one exception would allow any other exception. Special constables have the same powers as any police constable or any other police officer they are voluntarily unpaid staff representing the police force they are not PCSOs under any circumstance special constables can stop search and arrest an individual PCSOs can't that's the difference so there isn't really any parallel here

Very good audit by PTTP, he raised some very good questions and personal opinions with Sgt. #2784 about various things, it's nice to hear an auditor not be worried or embarrassed about admitting they are one when asked by a constable or officer. There is nothing to be ashamed of saying you're an auditor, in fact you should feel good about saying it, exercising and educating people on your right to lawfully film in public and keeping your government officials and employees accountable for transparency reasons is a worthy job which can lead to positive and productive changes happening in society which is what we need and want to see happen. Sgt. #2784 was professional, polite, friendly and didn't appear to have a big ego complex which a lot of PCs and officers suffer from in this day and age, he investigated the blues and twos incident and reported his findings back to PTTP out of courtesy which was decent thing for him to do. As for restricting or blocking police carpark gates when auditing, in my opinion it is always best for your own safety to stay on the grass verge or pathway to the left or right of this enterance/exit way slip road, the police get very finicky and fussy about these sorts of things and I have seen many auditors in the past get detained, searched and even arrested on a bogus charge(s) for obstructing their station carpark gates, it's not worth the grief so just use your common sense and apply it applicably where needed.

4:16....The concerned police squad car driver...was so concerned with your safety!? He “did not take effective observation before emerging..ie minimum of right, left, right observation...then stop because of parked vehicles blocking his view, more observation right, left, right, while creeping out to view effectively before committing to emerging!? In effect he was emerging blind sided with a casual right, left.....look, Being ineffective! Just thought someone should have known or told him that! Oh well....?

Did anyone notice the sergeants badge change from the first interaction to second. First interaction was a black flag with a poppy in the center (possibly a lense in). The sergeant goes away to supposedly check on why the police vehicle came in on blues and 2s but came back with a proper union jack flag in place where the black flag with the poppy was. Thought it was strange? What do you think of it?
