Clear Vinyl Enclosure Installation

This video shows a complete installation from start to finish. It is 16 minutes long but after watching you will have a complete understanding of the easy installation process.
Many terms are used to describe clear vinyl enclosures. Isinglass is often used but Isinglass used to be a product made from fish bladders that is no longer used today.
Today's enclosures are made from a PVC plastic that is standard in the industry. Other terms you may hear are double polished marine grade clear vinyl plastic.
It takes an enormous amount of machine pressure to create the clarity of these Clear vinyl PVC wall panels and 20mil thickness typically is made from 54-inch rolls. At Mosquito Curtains, we are continually innovating and have found the technology to make 72 inch rolls. What that means is taller clear windows and less filler canvas to make up any height difference. It means we don't heat weld panels that form seams that are prone to failing. Most importantly in means less fabrication and use of canvas that is far more expensive resulting in lower cost to you.
What is important is that clear vinyl plastic will block cold, rain, snow and pollen so that your porch or patio are usable during the winter months. Most have seen this product at restaurants to protect outdoor seating areas.

So what do you do if you have a gutter/downspout on one of the outside corner posts? This one conveniently had another post outside of the area being enclosed, which is kind of unusual...

I have one open entry in my carport, which I park in daily. I am looking for some type of plastic to hang for a windbreak. Would this work? I was thinking of just buying heavy duty drop plastic (as if to paint). Where does this come from? I see someone else has also asked that but with no luck.

Tarp Supply.com and if you want to see out, get the 30 ml clear PVC material. You can have them place the grommets where you want and then just hang on hooks, nails, or screws at your carport roof line.
