First time I've seen Martin Bakole fight. What a phenomenal fighter. Jared Anderson was tortured and, unlike Peter, I would be surprised if he's ever the same. Martin had me captivated. He's the new HW force to be reckoned with. Definitely 'Fight of the Day'.

What people don't comment on is the sparring between Bivol and Madrimov leading up to the Bivol vs Canelo fight.The spar looked more competitive than the Canelo vs Bivol fight EVER was. Madrimov wasn't engaging Bud,which took away Buds counter game.I believe Madrimov was the best fighter at 154 but his style sucked for Crawford.Go watch the spar I've talked about to get a feel for how good Madrimov is.But Bud still found a way.🥊💥

PF as always knows the score, Crawford v Canelo is a completely different type of fight to Crawford v Madrimov. Canelo plods and doesn’t have great feet like Madrimov. Canelo cany switch like Madrimov can. I’d still make Canelo favourite but people claiming Crawford has no chance citing the Madrimov fight are either casuals or being dishonest

Extremely biased commentary... Bud clearly won easily... Madrimov hardly did anything the first four rounds but faint and give the rounds away... Can't do that fighting Bud! Then after he finally moved out of neutral... Bud up 6-0 (5-1 being generous) and Crawford clearly won the last three rounds too, leaving rounds 7,8&9 up for grabs... So could only give madrimov 4rounds at the most with his 1st-2nd gear fighting... Crawford against Canelo would be like when Canelo fought Bivol. You can’t just go up unlimited divisions, eventually the size catches up with you. Crawford pretty much got to that point with Madrimov. Canelo has taken 36 rounds off GGG without being buckled, Crawford won’t be able to put a dent in him and the power would be too much. Be a shame to see him get stopped due to size. But when he gets offered £50m for the fight we all know it’s going to happen.

I think you’re spot on. Canelo is far too big and strong and can take shots. Bud is amazing but it’s a step too far. Canelo v Bivol in reverse as you say.

Canelo has zero footwork, amir khan was giving him fits before he got caught and amirs no bud. Canelo lost to bivol because bivol IS the mover, khan, lara, bjs all had success. Bud has a better chance then people think, unless canelo pulls another john Ryder and they fight in a phonebooth 🤷‍♂️
