Yea, Im not sure what it is but I know exactly what he’s replying too. Especially from that point of being useless or when I’m hyper critical of myself. I see my son or daughter smile or I hear them laughing. It does something to me in a way I feel like I’ve accomplished everything. It was funny when he said that because instantly I connected to that. For Andy’s father to say that to his son I think that’s what ever kid wants to hear too. My father died two years ago from Covid. We had a terrible relationship very abusive, so I instantly looked at it from that perspective as well. You could truly hear the sincerity in his voice. I personally think this is my favorite one he’s done. Hope they are safe having fun they should be making their third skydive. I have been watching Andy’s jumps daily. Semper Fi

I watched this with my 21yo son yesterday. To my surprise & delight, he stayed on the couch with me for the entire podcast, only gazing into his phone occasionally. He's on break from Berkeley (no big deal, just a hyper-elite world class university...I'm not the type to go around bragging about my son), & he was impressed with your dad. He was impressed by his ability to critically/objectively think, & his ability to blame himself while lifting others up. He rolled his eyes a bit when the whole pronouns topic came up, obviously thinking "OK, here we go...here's when he'll be just like every older man", but he said something like 'his views are really as good as can possibly be expected for a man his age.' I too am impressed with your dad, & I actually found him to be even more level-leaded than you are, & your bubble is right in the center of the level (that's a construction reference for ya). You are one of the very few out there who don't follow the partisan divide....love it love it love it.

I'm not usually into other's personal family history, but your relationship with your Dad seems to be great that you can communicate about a variety of topics and still be okay with disagreement. Hit home with me as my Dad served in the Vietnam war as well but I currently have no relationship with him. Those men that went over there to fight, there is no easy way out for them considering the stigma that war brought via the military/industrial complex.

I think your dad seems to be a mostly charming guy, but he’s got some seriously problematic, uninformed ideas and opinions, not to mention somewhat of a warped concept of history. But fascinating, revealing conversation. Also, California is NOT “in the black.” California leads the nation of states in dept, with it now being over $283B, and a $25B deficit this year it faces a recession in 2023.

What made me laugh was the running out of gas part of his story. When I was like 8 my uncle ran out of gas on the way to the zoo and I still haven't rode with him again to this day lmfao. Listen Gents 45 minutes in, I'm not saying this is the Origin, However it is to me in my understanding So far. I just did a video on it because I'm trying to fully digest American History and Modern Events, I want to be able to Properly Educate my children and loved the time I've already spent tutoring kids. When you tell a group of men, Absent Previous Social Constraints-Kings/Queens-The Pope, etc, that they are now "Free with Ultimate Self Determination." Immediately Plans are made to, grow and prosper. Also inevitably plans are made to Control others and Ideas,, to settle old grievances, to maintain control, and to avoid consequences. Most early governmental members in motive are like the ones today. Rarely was early American Government Planning to maintain Individual Liberties. Tyranny of the Free is Insidious that way, it's hard to balance and to resist when it can be wielded in so many ways, for so many reasons, with the ability to hid it behind so many things. This is the Answer 45 minutes in its super simple!-Results need to be produced by Promissory notes with consequences-Dan Crenshaw, Andy's former Student did a great job this past Fall. There is another video of an Emergency Session on Energy, in the Texas Senate where the Congressman confronted his colleagues and got them to admit that for Energy and renewables promised that the math and functionality was planning to and has been fraudulent. He in that same session got them to promise accurate Results. IT WAS MONUMENTAL. It was when he got back from doing the Energy Summit in Egypt (also monumental). This clip is similar. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpPHmX-Mi7SLeac

Good convo. The politic stuff - let’s face it, the “humanism” label is 100% correct. I believe there is such thing as right and wrong - stemming from “The Good, True and Beautiful”. What the truth is matter. Period. Pretty sure we know what we can consider to be true - if it’s plainly “the truth”. Getting to that point, we must first wipe away at the many years of deception. Community starts with man’s or woman’s relationship within, first. How do we become friends with the many complexities of “the self”. History seems to suggest there are 7 pillars or principles of natural law happening. Christ embodied them. We face a “hierarchy” who actively moves to prevent our understandings of what is; the good, true, and beautiful.

I love the West. Hiking once with wife South of Pueblo, CO near our off grid were the Rockies meet the Plains. Down one of those gullies ' and draws that lead to the Plains. I watched from 75 yards above as a single coyote barreled down on my wife, at full speed from behind, in the open, 200 yard sprint! I'm watching, she don't see it. But there was never any fear, I know this coyote spotted her from a distance, and as soon as it gets a good look at her it will turn and break...and that's just what happened. I never yelled, never pointed my rifle...was just like, " Hey, sweetie did you see that Crazy coyote."

Coach Stumpf is awesome, but there is one minor clarification. There was no sexual harassment allegations against the mens rugby team or team members raised by the women's team. There was a student on the men's rugby team that was anonymously accused on an anonymous instagram post of being a creep and a predator. The women's team saw this and raised the alarm. The leadership of the Men's team took appropriate actions, reported the post to the title IX office. In the end no action against the student was taken by the School or the teams. Although this anonymous post created conflict, the student leaders from both clubs worked it out. Everyone moved forward and focused on the rugby. Today, we are better off from the lessons we learned through that experience.
