We've seen everything Chris did in this video 100 times. So why do we still watch? Cuz, Chris explains the project, what needs to be done, and any anomalies he might encounter. AND, we get to watch a MASTER (expert) do the work. This pond is going to be AWESOME. Thanks, Chris, for bringing us along! 👍😀❤️️😎

I’ve watched Chris for years and learned so much from him. I own a Volvo 2018 ECR355 which is considerably larger excavator then his, but I’m a novice at best. I only use my excavator to clear my own land and have learned so many techniques from Chris that you don’t see anyone else do. Chris is a highly productive and very innovative operator in technique...I don’t think the average viewer sees or understands that.

Have you ever shook a pine over a fire in pollen time a dry day, Chris? Then you will see a dust deflagration cloud rising to the sky! Really nice to watch if you have the wind from back or no wind! ;D

Imagine if you had a grapple attachment to go with the root rake, then you could carry all those piles forward easily instead of rolling them along with lots of stop and backing involved. Or just get yourself a used track loader with a grapple for these clearing jobs where the fine grading of the dozer isn't needed.

Chris you putting the camera on the right side of the dozer is much better. You hear the dozer work without the sound of the exhaust overwhelming. You could put a small let's dig 18 sticker on the black support . Now if the weather dry up it be a plus for you. 👍🇺🇸💯
@jankrijnen73743 жыл бұрын
Why don’t you dig a long trench, put all the brushes and trees in it and cover it up again? It makes great soil and gives you sort of french drain for years. Less pollution from burning and also you get rid of a swampy area. Here the dutch have been doing it for a long time😊

Missed seeing an episode yesterday[Friday]. So you went back down to the New Bern swamp forest site. We`ve had enough pollen in N.Central Florida - must be just starting in the Carolinas. Hard to follow 'line of sight' when you are in thick woods and can`t see each end. 29:00 to 34:30 I couldn`t help but thing the song "push it,push it real good" would be nice if KZbin would have let you put in the audio.Hope you, family and friends have a peaceful Easter.

Close to ten years ago or maybe longer we had unusual weather. We had cold temps clear up to march 14 they were around15 degrees, then there was a solar flare and in 2 days the temperature rose to 82 degrees and stayed there in the day and dropped to 70ish at night. We had 2 feet of snow that left completely in two weeks and day light temps stayed at 80 to 85 till labor day then lost 20 degrees and turned to cold wet rainy weather our humidity ran 85 to 95% and no air conditioning. Damnedest summer I can remember except the summer after mount St.Helens eruption ,sun for half a day and cloudy and rainy all the rest .

This old time digger i once worked with always had a 500m roll of orange string, 2 sharpened stakes and a couple cans of orange spray paint in his excavator. He would use them to get a straight line to follow when he was clearing a lane through woods or shrubs... except for when it was super thick.
