You know what Chris, that little dozer is like a pocket battleship… diminutive in size but has so much power that it just obliterates everything that is daft enough to get in the way… I love listening to the sounds of the undercarriage, it’s almost relaxing, the pop pop pop as the tracks move over the rollers, I can see why you like her so much… another great video Sir.

That piece of property looks so much different since you started Chris, no more swamp brother! Goes to show you, a few drainage ditches makes all the difference! 👌🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻 I remember the job with the pond at the top of the hill , the ditch you dug there was a long one! That’s when Timmy was working with you Chris, I think Tim was on the 160 and you were on the 220 and y’all had burn piles everywhere! Y’all were burning them in the rain, that’s when I watched you carrying the fire from one pile to the next until you had 4-5 piles burning! Long time ago my friend!

Chris ,have you thought about having a big sled that you can load as you go ,drag it along with digger ,or hook the D6 up to it and then when full haul to the Burn pile location ? A flat bed semi trailer without wheels,but skids ,and logging staunchens to hold trees and brush in place . Once a burn pile a quick unload straight on the burn pile Just another crazy thought lol It could be transported on a low boy with maybe the bulldozer on top ,if it could be locked down correctly 😊
@sharonmiller6436
@sharonmiller6436 Жыл бұрын
I was watching him fight with that stuff and thinking what about lay a couple of wide rachet straps on the ground, put the trees etc on them then move up the bulldozer and set the blade down on the straps, right against the pile, then tighten the straps to pull the stuff against the blade. It might even be possible to raise the whole issue up with the blade and then trundle them all down lickety-split. 🙂
