Over my lifetime, I have seen yard sticks, laser pointers, hands, etc. used as a pointer. This man uses the bucket of a f**n big back hoe to point out items of interest. I love it! Keep it up and be well letsdig18.

Thanks for the great video mate ,do you have any rock where you operate in general ,seems to be clay and sandy loam ,I'd always put a rock and reef clause when I'd quote for the larger jobs ,there's only certain places where you could be certain what type of ground you were dealing with ,and it could add days for excavation prices if you got it wrong. Cheers from down under.

They need to hire a semi and lowboy trailer to move the 250. They can tow the 160 behind their dump truck themselves.
@TrevorDennis1004 жыл бұрын
Guins can move all their equipment other than the 250 for which they have to pay for a lowboy trailer. That adds a significant cost to a small job like this. I did wonder about the Hitachi that Chris has now. That also needs a lowboy to move it, but I imagine it means Chris can take on bigger weekend jobs than if he had a 160 equivalent size excavator. I think he might get mate's rates for the Hitachi. There was a job where Chris let the lowboy owner's young son drive the Hitachi from the truck to the job site which would have been appreciated, and made the lad's whole year.

a question about the volvo power thumb, it looks like it's ram is as big as the bucket ram, i've watched a few other operators and they complain about the thumb ram having a pressure relief valve so as not to bend the thumb ram, therefore they can't lift as much, you don't seem to have that problem
