Clearing Noland's Plucky Punches without Master Fairs (Ultimate Battle) [Pokemon Masters EX]

(Leon's grid can be improved to get the move power-up tiles instead of the stat tiles and Max Regen to maximize his damage. Adrenaline 1 would be a better LS for Hilda so that you're not forced to quad-queue with Leon after his max move, but I didn't want to use the cookies.)
Wasn't really looking forward to this stage coz what do you mean we have to deal with Fissure??? But as I played it, it's actually a pretty interesting puzzle to solve, and I find it a lot funner than the Nita UB (which I have yet to clear lol). Of course, it's still an obnoxious UB and I really hope they don't plan to add this on Rally coz how the hell do we clear this with like a Sprint+Field Area 10.
Challenger Gloria takes on the role of NC Cheren here as a damage-dealer and even emulates his Fly with Bounce, which coupled with her sync acceleration passive and Sync Quickening can let you almost match Noland's pace in terms of stacking up sync buffs.
Summer Hilda tanks for the team as she has two uses of Protect thanks to Single Sync Reload, which means she can tank two fissures. She also provides defensive buffs for Gloria to better tank the syncs as well as Topsy-Turvy for the 50% endurance proc.
Battle Tower Leon completes the team as he has the very helpful combo of Max Guard and Max Damage Guard, which means he can protect both himself and an ally from an Earthquake. Beyond that, his Defense debuffs help in bumping up Gloria's damage, while his Attack debuffs help in weakening enemy sync.

I do think the additional Attack stats are helpful, but I'm not sure if they're strictly necessary to hit those endurance procs when I did?

Y’know this Ultimate Battle made me realize something I thought would never occur. Dena essentially made an illegal Pokemon because of this Machamp in particular… and I don’t know how to feel about that.

Part of me thinks the only reason virtual console Pokémon have hidden abilities was to specifically prevent *this* and here it is!

@@AverageEggmonEnthusiast Exactly. But there’s also those hacked battles in Platinum’s Battle Tower which had a Machamp with Scarf using Sheer Cold. Or how about a Ninjask with the exact same BS? Now if my Cheren had the Strike Cake (Which I had to give SS Hilbert to get my 1 Million Damage Points), he’d be able to survive and score the win.

No Leon and Gloria being 2/5 only makes this strat unviable. But I do have a fully invested summer Hilda so I'll definitely bring her. Not gonna lie, my best flying striker is unironically P. Elesa, who's 4/5 EX, so let's see if I can do something with her. Thanks regardless

Almost every UB gatekeeps most sync pairs anyway. You need damage guard next for this one, which isnt too different from Leon's needing paralysis AND terrain, or thorton basically needing ss hilda or mix blue, or anabel needing near constant debuffs and constant rain, etc. It's still annoying, though.
