Is there another piece of equipment that could do the job of both the tractor and skidsteer.

We could have just done it with either the dozer or the skid steer. With us being so close it made it quicker and easier to have the dozer, skid steer and grader get it done. If you are just looking to start out. I would get a skid steer with multiple attachments, one being a rock bucket, you can clear sage brush pretty quick with a rock bucket. When we started out all we had was the skid steer with the smooth bucket, we slowly purchased attachments and it expanded our capability’s.

Shovel, ax, rake, wheelbarrow, pitchfork, use the top layer and make adobe brick. The place looks like Colorado.
