🌿🌾 Clearing the rear yard of the farm, and planting a LAWN! Plus more fall tasks to check out 🌾🌿

Hey there everyone! Thanks for coming back to the farm!
We're nearly complete with our recap of fall 2023 projects and updates. One more video to go. This one is a special video, in that a RADICAL transformation has been made at the farm.
Ken, the guy that came to clear all the brush piles around my farm in May of 2023, came back with a small bulldozer and cleared the entire yard of my farm property behind the barns and behind the planting field. Instead of struggling through the task and trying to figure out some way to accomplish what needed to be accomplished, I simply paid a pro a few hundred dollars and the task was complete in a few hours.
With rain in the forecast the next day, I ran to Lowes and picked up a few 40lb bags of grass sees (HOLY COW $$$$$$$$) and went to work with a far-too-small broadcast spreader. After hours of difficult and frustrating spreading (and a fair-share of reconsideration of the tool I used to spread the seed) I had an entire yard of seeded ground. Fast forward about 6 weeks and nature did the trick.... some rain and sun and warmth, and a grass yard began emerging! Wooohoo.
Closing out this video are a few small event worth showing. For example, I got a great big yard cart from Tractor Supply - the thing went together quickly and works GREAT! My mom also dropped by the farm, which is a rare treat! Finally, and most sadly, my TLB-325 compact loader/backhoe won't stay running. I'm confident it is a fuel delivery issues, but ran out of time in the fall to dig in. So, that will be a task on the list for the coming Spring. Stay tuned.
