That’s true, but we are also called to be accountable to one another as the body of Christ. This was too far. We have to make sure we’re following the theology and not the theatrics. Psychologically and biologically, still considered an addiction. Both substance abuse and porn addiction become a source of chemical dependence for the brain and withdrawals may take different forms but they’re still withdrawals. This isn’t preference or semantics, it’s neuroscience and how the brain becomes dependent on things. I’m far from a Mike Todd fan, but you only came to this comment section to antagonize and come after people who related to a message. No good can come of that, and no good should come of that. Back in November of 2021 I discovered Pastor Todd, by December I stopped watching his sermons . I judged him for the flashy watches and chains. At some time in Jan 2022 I saw his viral video on TMZ and that was confirmation that I was right for not watching his videos. The problem is today I realized that confirmation wasn’t from God . 2 weeks ago I subscribed to transformation church after watching Anchored and this morning I fought the cringe and searched for the “ Michael Todd spit sermon” on KZbin . I want to start off by saying I will not judge him. Him being a pastor does not exclude him from being human. However I have never been so disturbed by this demonstration. It saddens me because I learned to love the way he uses props to make it clear. I pray for the spirit of confusion. Being raised apostolic it just left me highly confused and shocked. I then went into therapy where I just dived in thinking if I actively fixed myself, my ex would see the changes and want to be with me again. But that was not what God had instore for me. He wanted me to see why he had taken me out of that relationship. I started speaking to God more and forming the relationship I had not had with him in a long time. I watched this sermon live and was blown away! I invited a friend over to re-watch it with me because this was sooooo good! I knew the enemy would try to get busy because this word literally waged war on the enemy and God's army was ignited to play offense! BUT GOD!!!!! My heart was broken seeing how people took a 2 minute clip and said such horrible things about God's chosen vessel, when if they watched the whole message, there was an undeniable anointing and blessing awaiting! I am so glad that what the enemy meant for evil, GOD made it for his glory! People watched because of the negative press and I firmly believe, it was by design. My family and I have been following Transformation Church for about four years. The sermons from this church have blessed me, my husband, our 22 and 20 year old sons, and our 16 year old daughter, in ways that I KNOW FOR CERTAIN was God's hand on our lives. In my 49 years of life, I have learned not to follow a man, but to follow God and His Holy Spirit. All of this was simply a reminder that Pastor Mike is a human and makes mistakes. The reenactment was absolutely shocking, and admit I was temporarily disengaged from the message. I agree that the point could have even been made with his actual spit without having to cough and hock over it. 🙄 However, after getting over the the initial shock, I was once again reminded how everything works in God's perfect plan. Pastor Mike may have lost a few people over this shocking display, but in this day and age, we all know that, unfortunately, the "shock" value is what brings some people to a message. After reading the comments, there are many who watched to see a man get spit placed upon his face, but maybe, just maybe, they left with much, much more. 😊 Even HERE is Holy! 🙌🏾

It’s amazing how God orchestrates things! Found anchored last year when I was going through a heart break and the series ended up helping me when I lost my mom from Covid. I’ve been religiously following the Here Is Holy series weekly and hadn’t ever gone back to the pre-series word for this thing that’s changed my life- this message. really, out of my own discomfort. In public when people were ruthless, I knew Pastor’s heart and teaching style with practical application and advocated for the God in him knowing his character, the testament of his testimony, the impact this church and this pastor have had on my life. I did not give myself the liberty, however, out of my own discomfort, to actually listen to the whole message until tonight at work. I saw the clip on a media site about Pastor Mike spitting on someone's eyes. And it was definitely disturbing, almost to the point where I skipped over watching the message.
