@clearvaluetax93823 жыл бұрын
Hey Majin, I agree! Being rich won't make everyone happy and being poor won't make everyone happy either. But if you look at your earnings independently from happiness, I personally think it's better if you work for 40 hours a week that you make $1,000,000 than working 40 hours a week for $20,000. But that's just my opinion. If I could be rich and happy or poor and happy, I would honestly pick rich and happy, but that's just me.

Wonderful video man! I don’t know if it is due to your area of coverage but it is missing Data Science/Quant and also Software Engineering. Both of these can provide a $500k-1.5m income for exceptional workers. Some of my SWE friends were making $250k a year by 25 without going to college.
@xyzmediaandentertainment8313 Жыл бұрын
That is more an exception the rule. And remember there are excellent SWE everywhere around thr world and the job can be easily outsourced.
@xyzmediaandentertainment8313 Жыл бұрын
@Yousof Algburi well maybe. I will say it is more PRONE to being outsourced then other listed jobs cause of a variety of factors: 1. Most of the work can be done remotely so whenever possible companies will try to outsource. It's not like being a nuclear engineer or doctor where you HAVE to be on site. 2. SWE requires minimal social interaction so "soft skills" are nowhere near as important as they would be for say a CEO or management Consultant. 3. Low cost of learning and indian/Chinese/African entry into the market. Anyone can learn to code on their own nowadays and the demand will push wages down significantly as people from poorer countries enter the market 4. ChatGPT and AI. Will have same effect as point 3.

Young and want a good paying job and don’t like college or don’t want to go? Look into Air traffic control. The average salary in the US is 130k - no college degree required. Most airports want experience. Simple way to get that is to join the military. I did Air Force. Tell your recruiter you only want ATC and will wait as long as you need for a spot to open. Do your 6 year minimum enlistment and get out. During that time you will get all the training and experience you need, as well as build an incredible network. Tons of job opportunities on the outside.

@@1MinuteFlipDoc 4 years. Had to pass state board exam for ARDMS, SPI ( sonographic principles & Instrumentation). 6 months unpaid externship. Accumulated required hours to sit in for RMSK exam. Hard to find a job in this field, especially over here in the West Coast. First year I made about $85k. I've been in the field since 2016. Took home close to $300k in 2018, same in 2019. Covid has a huge impact on work last year and put me closer to $340k. Schooling cost me around $35k. I used financial aid to help aliviate those costs. Hope I was somewhat helpful.

@Erik Schultz find an accredited program. You can go for an aa or ba. Gotta pass your boards through the ardms after completing your unpaid externship. I specialized in rsmk as I said. Next step is to pass your sonographical and instrumentation test. Not so easy. Then hope you find a job. Absolutely worth it. Personally I'd stay away from abdominal protocals, OB, rvt. Rmsk is a very niche field so it's quite difficult to get into. I lucked out being the only male in my graduating class.

I am retired and trade stocks that range from $1 to $10 and have a low float of less than 25 million available shares. I often make more money by opening a position shortly after the market opens and setting up an automatic sell at a given percentage. Usually by lunch that trade closes and I make more money in a few hours than I used to make in my biweekly paycheck working for the government. I agree that trading will make you rich if you have balls and know how to use technology to find quick trades. Buying and holding does not work as well as it used to.

I would add that these days, virtually all of the big 4 consulting firms pay extremely well for many positions not related to accounting. A perfect example would be Salesforce developer jobs. A company like KPMG will hire mid 20 year-olds with a few years of dev experience for salaries easily around the 150k mark. You can progress into similar partner level positions at these firms with zero traditional accounting knowledge.
