May be a dumb question? But how you tell the difference between Chinook and coho?? I've only steal head fished on the cr water??

@@jonessportfishing thanks brother caught one this afternoon you gave him thumbs up going buy it was a Chinook 30" he wasn't sure it was his first ever.. I've never caught a coho been fishing the cr for over 30 years.. is there some kinda of limit on coho ?? I tried figuring it out guess I'm to dumb too..

I do feel bad having to blow by guys in waders, and even your red boat last Friday, but at these levels and some channels being so narrow, one doesn't have a choice. That being so, there is common sense and discretion to be used. I've always been happy with how respectful you and your crews are. I whacked my trolling prop on that damned gravel hump, just below CL launch, if that makes you feel any better.

How late are you picking up fall chinook? My grandpa and I are fishing with you on the 11th

We will get them all through October, but can only keep them until October 14. With so many steelhead around we are not really focusing on them much at this point

So, wait.... the steelhead just showed up and they're already about to make it catch and release? That's ridiculous! Shouldn't have bought my permit. Waste of money. Most of us are lucky to get out one or two days a month.

@@jasonhurdlow6607 dude it goes to catch and release on October 15th - November 9. It’s a permanent regulation in the rule book. This isn’t a new development

The season is literally open from September 10 - October 14 then from November 10-April 30. Plenty of time to go hit the water

I have been catching steelhead since late August. Also, some of the best times I have ever had on the cwater is during catch and release season.
