Haha, you got it man - I want to thank you again, had you not sent those to me I would not have caught all of those quality fish last year. Very grateful for that and plan to reload soon for the upcoming season. I'll shoot you an email this week and hopefully we can hop on a vid chat, would love to catch up and Lord knows I'm way behind on stuff. Talk soon!

Hey thanks so much for the kind words Dave. If you order some, make sure to add a note to the order and let Ethan know you saw this video! They are extremely fun to use, and I just used them again in this video I put up the other day, too: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6eTlGxjjb9-qpI Have a great week! -AJ

I use a 1/32 oz mule jig and green pumpkin donkey tail. Super productive bait, multi species fish catching machine!

My favorite thing about mule jigs is that the panfish doesn't swallow the hook 99.9% of the time. I used to fish with a night crawler on a circle hooks, because of them swallow other hooks. But even with a circle hooks they were still swallowing the hooks more than I like. I will never need buy worms or circle hooks ever again. My favorite is the horsefly for panfish. I could go on and on about these, but I'll stop and just say I love them.

They are great, and one of the nice things about fishing a moving bait is EXACTLY what you mentioned - the fish don't have a chance to really take it deep and get a gut-hook. Where do you usually fish them? Thanks and have a great week!

Awesome, thanks very much - it makes my day to get comments like this - ESPECIALLY if you grabbed a few jigs / plastics and started catching fish. Let me know when the vid drops and I'll ping the Online Outdoorsman too ;)

AJ, your conversion to Finesse Angler is nearly (or possibly totally) complete! Those saucy nuggets are just the trick for panfish and, as noted, bass bite small lures too. Of course you are always authorized to mix things up and power fish too 😆😆. Hereabouts (in a week from now) March is a great month for a combo of power and finesse... I'm excited already. Best wishes, Don

Haha, hey Brother Don! Last year was truly a game changer for me, you nailed it. You know this already but I got turned on to the Slim SwimZ by watching your videos, and they were the perfect size for creek smallmouth. Between your tips, the Donkey Tails and a few other larger options, I am ready to rock when it comes to swimbait fishing and I can't wait for warmer weather. I'll be watching your vids to see how things change south of here - when I finally get to Arkansas I think I'll be able to start much earlier than mid-April... talk soon and have a great week. -AJ

I was disappointed with the PRC manufacture, but I was happy to support a small business. I liked the handwritten note and fast shipping. As a novice angler, I also appreciate Ethan's videos explaining how to set these up.
@TheMinimalistFisherman2 жыл бұрын
Good feedback - thank you. I hear what you're saying with the PRC manufacture, but I think for us here in the states if we're going to support a growing business we almost have to look for hand pours. Not sure if there is a company in the states that will create smaller batch orders of super-stretchy material like these - do you know of any? I'd be very interested in learning more if you have any leads, and I could share that with Ethan as well. Let me know, curious to hear your feedback. Thanks dude!
