Advice to new parents. 1, Don't sleep with the baby in your bed. Fight the urge to bring the baby in with you so you can get some sleep. Once the baby is in it's own crib only go to the crib for comfort. Sit on the floor next to the crib. It may take a couple weeks but once you break through it's a game changer. The sooner the baby learns to sleep on it's own, the better it will be for everyone. 2. Toddlers have eating issues. They all do. If they don't want to eat, remove the food and let them go until the next meal. They won't starve themselves. The sooner they learn that they can't control what and when they eat the happier everyone will be. It's like magic. Offer food, when they don't eat it, remove it and tell them they will be able to eat at the next meal. Don't break down and let them chose to eat an hour later. When lunch or dinner comes around or when they go to bed hungry because they didn't eat dinner they will get the picture real quick. You won't have to trick them anymore.
