What little edges do you mean? He simply sieges up 7 Liberators you cant attack into and then destroys shields with Ghosts.You cant trade against this and it has nothing to do with edges.

A well microd terran army is hard to beat. Protoss lacks a strong way to deal with liberators, tempest seem like the right idea, but they hit like noodles. Needing 6 (according to winter) to take down liberators is a lot of supply doing very little other than poke while vikings pick them apart.

@@Fam0usFarm3r We need to make it common knowledge that pre-sieging a unit like Liberators requires no skill while countering it requires insane micro, apm and skill! And APM is a ressource! And Terran has lots of this: Dropping marines for example requires little apm, but countering it requires a lot of apm. Ghosts requieres little apm, countering them requieres lots of apm. This is true for most Terran units. And thats the whole problem: Little effort big reward for almost anything Terran plays

Clem made a Raven to look for observers. Now thats something you rarely see a terran do. Most of the time they just scan whenever they can or battle, leaving alone how much inf those observers give. Sadly it didn't last. 19:27 Clem can't make the medivac upgrade since Showtime destroyed the fusion core.

Is there a reason Toss players don't just make like a single Phoenix to dislodge the medivac with marines in the back? Like at 04:42. I can see the stargate isn't being used for anything. It seems like a better way to dislodge the drop than just endlessly patrolling stalkers in the area. I also noticed this in Clem's games with Her0 where Clem killed like over a dozen workers of Her0's with a Raven in the back that Her0 never dealt with.

I'd imagine it's because the Phoenix won't actually kill the medivac since they have such low damage and range or it's just too much to manage as pro level protoss is already a lot to control

It's so frustrating watching a Protoss manage to fend off an early drop harass with little to no losses, then manage to pull off a good counter, taking out more SCVs and doing more economic damage, only for it to not matter in the slightest. Doubly so in the late game when mules take over, and the Terran is able to just build up a mass of OCs to just spam them and constantly spam scan sweep - meanwhile Protoss can't really do much for detection, because scan sweep spots observers and Ghosts can EMP them, allowing them to run amok in the Protoss army with impunity. And even Oracles can only get so close to provide temporary detection, and can't get close at all if there are Vikings in the air. The fact that Showtime had zealots _in Clem's base_ tearing up his production and reinforcements, but still it didn't matter. Man, what is this game? Protoss air cannot reasonably counter Terran air, not with so many Vikings in the air, and that lets the Liberators go wild on the ground forces, it just makes fighting almost impossible. Especially when Vikings outrange the units meant to counter them, and are cheaper to mass than the Tempest. And then on top of all of that, clumps of marines/marauders just melt through buildings so insanely fast with stim, it feels so oppressive to play against. That they also just rip through units that on paper are supposed to counter them is crazy to me.

Every time I watch a protoss player play these top tier terran, I wonder why they bother with disruptors. It seems like they can never land a shot, or maybe a single decent one in the entire game. About the only purpose they seem to serve is in allowing the protoss army to retreat since the terran has to back up to avoid. Is that really worth it? Is this really the role they're supposed to serve? Like, for actual aoe, the psi storms and colossus just seem so much more effective.

Showtime showed how a Protoss can be strategic and winning advantages at various stages of the game even against the best Terran, but in the end Clem is just too strong for Showtime - Showtime couldn't macro and micro at the same time nearly as well, and in the end his resources ran out at times and the army couldn't be replenished quick enough. Of course, I'm sure the gold and silver level toss players are just gonna whine their guts out as usual - it just explains why they're so bad at the game LOL

@@MrVeryfrost and do what with those lose them to a lib siege? mmm at that point with +3 will rip that appart, and he DID fight on batteries it just doesn't help that much super battery/batteries in general have been GUTTED over a series of patches genuinely there needs to be some form of decent ranged AA anti armor for toss tempests phoenix and voids all get absolutely annihilated by Vikings which only worry about HT and stalkers neither of which fly since air is the only way to dislodge a lib ghost terran but toss loses in the air to a single unit

Watch out. The bronze league hero who said so little in so many words is pointing out the obvious again. It is much harder to deal with 2 medivacs full of bio than it is to deal with 15 zealots, protoss doesn't have many good harass defense options, and even less offensive harass options. Not to mention, 1 ghost does like 1000 damage with EMP, making protoss have to back off instantly or lose the fight.

The first game was so disgusting, only the bs race can be fine after taking that massive worker damage so early in the game, Clem was 26 workers down at 7 minutes (with only 36). I'm not watching a cast of any game with Terran again.
