The last game was on the host for not mentioning the lack of Bronze players during the replay/ discussion. Don't penalize Clem for not knowing stuff like that. Luckily since it's the first game of the season you can apply the same rule to all players, anyone guessing Bronze can up their guess to Silver 3.

Aight we're back! Thank you guys for the production level, it's superb! Wanted to share a couple of thought - 2nd game, i would ranked zerg as gold 1 bc that helion defense... That ain't it my brother in creep. Since we're rating terran it'd be fair to give him 1 rank higher i.e. plat 3 i guess 😅 - 3rd game again i rated zerg as plat 1 bc it looked like my typical plat1 ZvP game, in some aspects better: dedicated midgame attack on max supply and with moderate bank which gets deflected, and some time later protoss with a tailored composition storms his own army, then proceeds to steamroll my army with minimal losses anyway. Again, since we're supposed to rate Protoss, it's fair to give him 1 rank higher, diamond 3 😊

My score: 4 It's interesting as a low-level player getting such a good score, my lack of knowledge might have helped. guess 1: not floating, decent crisis management 280+ apm consistently on both sides, despite pressure both sides macro and get upgrades. My guess: M2 (+0) guess 2: I guessed d3 just because terrain was at least getting upgrades, and teching towards banshees while harassing where I imagined Plat and low diamond to stare at their hellions especially when getting so much value. I just ruled the entire zerg's oor defense to panic. My guess: D3 (+3) guess 3: I can relate to this zerg as a plat Zerg. it seems like these players focus on macro, but at the same time the Zerg upgrades are a little dodgy. The Zerg seems to just be going for a maxout and hitting. The toss didn't micro away from Biles which is bad, but I can see that happening in a plat game. My guess: P1 (+1) guess 4: This is the kind of stuff I know silver and gold players do. They watch a pro game, and think they can just do it. Not realizing they should not finish the e-bay, or gas, and that a gas block isn't a big deal in zvt. Plus the fact that the zerg didn't know how to deal with the ghost puts them below G1 in my opinion. I went with G3 but I knew it could be anywhere from S2-G2 (although at S2 and below I have a hard time believing that the terran would be able to have a gameplan like that and execute it within 6 mins) My Guess: G3 (+0) note on APM based on my limited experience: GM: 250-350+ M1-3: 200-330 D3-D1: 130-270 P3-P1: 80-200 G3-G1: 50-150 S3-S1: 25-110 Some players rapid fire everything so if you see one player with 500apm, and the other 150 apm, that's why. Zerg has higher apm than terran (I had over 100apm in silver, and over 220 apm in plat due to being a fairly fast zerg for my mmr) If zerg is playing ling-bane, also adds to some apm.

Changed the scoring system? Correct = 0 points and off-by-one division should be 2 points, right? Why change it to 1? Reduces the benefit of "exactly correct".

That is correct. The score system got slightly adjusted this season. The previous system never REALLY did what it was intended to do but confused a lot of people instead - even after multiple seasons. So after some lengthy discussions we wanted to test this simpler and more straight forward one this season.

Felt like a mid tier plat game to me, macro was alright, upgrades were going, spelcasters were used to somewhat decent effect, micro was very lacking. But to be fair that’s not far from D3, plat is the smallest league iirc.
