Before I got chronically ill I always thought of fragrances like a ”going out scent, event scent, travel scent” etc. Now when I am homebound I just appreciate that scents can put a smile on my face❤😊 a great scent can uplift the mood so much. Thank you clemence, tenrec says hi🦔❤

I just came back from Paris and while my family was at Versailles, I stayed in the city and spent half a day at Jovoy instead. Best day and I got a few new fragrances. I have over 100 on my wishlist and now I have more! Have you ever heard of the app called the Perfumist? I just found it and have spent and entire day on it, adding my fragrances and what I like. It’s quite fun and has an extensive database of perfumes. A great way to make a list and share with others. Wondering if you know it or others do? Anyway, thanks as always for the great video.

OK, off to check for samples of Goutal L’Ile au Thé scent. I didn't know about this one! (just bought four samples, thanks, C. :) Annick Goutal was my first experience where Niche brands are concerned. So sophisticated, so gorgeous, so utterly French. Eau de Ciel was a first favorite from AG ... impossible to find today.

I purchased a bottle of Vanille Leather and it was delivered to me in Texas last week. I think I was over anticipating it since it is from the same perfumer as BabyCat (which I own and LOVE in the cooler weather) and I just bought a bottle of Sugar Leather (another LOVE!) but I was disappointed. was hoping for more vanilla and surprised at how prominent the florals are. I’m going to let it sit some and give it another try in a few weeks.

@@clemenceccfragrance I also buy deluxe samples from Vinted when brands don’t sell samples on their website 😉 I try it and if I don’t like, I resell them again cheaper than I bought them because I used them, even though I only need 1 or 2 dabs to figure out if I’m gonna like a scent or not … and obviously I don’t mind asking for samples at brands corners even if I don’t buy anything ! 😁 I know I don’t abuse as I only ask for samples of scents I genuinely would buy if I like them

@@clemenceccfragrance and last (sorry for the spam), I have a bright colleague who keeps her luxury shopping bags, and goes to Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, Bon marché and so on with them (even with the empty box inside 😅) because she noticed that then she is treated like a queen, and sellers don’t mind giving her fragrance samples even if she doesn’t buy anything as she looks like a walking wallet and they expect she will splurge 😂😂😂 I love her shopping anecdotes and she does have a brilliant idea there, works for her 👍🏻
