Nice vid bro and nice touch with the rifleman's creed...I saw a few fullas running around our platoon on Basic chanting the "creed" for calling their rifles and gun!!😉😁😂😂..Scope caps for bush hunting is hard...I use pop-ups they good for lens protection but no good for close quarters snap shooting...a pullover scope cover maybe...keep up the good work brother🤙🤙🤙

Nice video good to see the deer around. Iv found iner tube out of tyres the best to keep the rain and rubbish off your scope. Cheep and also a fire lighter.

Neat video. I’ve done a bit in fiordland over the years in the wet, no easy way to keep the scope clear, I’ve used a rear butler creek scope cap with the thumb release and keep the rifle pointing down to keep the front objective clear. Also used a piece of cut tyre tube to fit over the scope but it can fling off when your trying to slip it off for a shot. Only other thing is I’d take the bipod off for bush hunting. Cheers

Look up Leupolds Alumina covers. They thread in & open quick. Spendy though. Thanks for the video.

feebsnz thanks mate much appreciated! I guess the expense can be justified if it leads to less frustration and more animals on the deck! Haha

I’ve got some cheapo butler creek flip up scope covers each end of my leupold, they work great, get a see through front cover just in case you forget to flick it up!

Greg Hughson thanks brother yeah I’ve had a couple of people say the same thing about the butler scope covers! They sound damn good for the $. Are they pretty watertight?
@greghughson74506 жыл бұрын
Yeah they seem to be, but if you get a bit of rain inside them they condensate over your scope lens

Met a hunter out in the bush that used electronic earmuffs said when he gets into tight bush it amplifies everything and can hear very far away reckoned he shot a lot of deer because of it
